Chapter 145: Unmistakable Night Part 1
-Elias' POV-
The days went by quickly after the meeting, troops were already being shipped here and barracks were being prepared.
We made sure to tighten the border and prepare to invade.
Leon's memory has been fuzzy, still not remembering much of his life.
Rose and Luna as well as many others have been trying to bring back those memories but they all still seem distant in his mind.
The two often didn't leave the manor after Leon woke up, but some days I would push them to go outside and touch some grass.
At times I would have to carry Rose against her will, when that happened we would fight with swords and any anger she had would leave her.
Luna seemed to have taken it the hardest, I can't see why not, the man she's been dependent on and emotionally attached to for years has forgotten her.
-Luna's POV-
I finished my shower and put on my nightgown, Leon was turned over, he would usually do so when I dress as if trying not to peek.
He's still my husband, he can look at me anytime, though I guess with the situation he's in his mind doesn't realize that he's seen every bit of me already.
I'm glad he at least allows me to sleep in the same bed as him.
I get to continue having his presence close and he is attentive when I speak which is nice.
Though it saddens me at times, it makes me feels as though I'm unwanted.
Of course, I understand it's nothing wrong, but still...
I turned out the light and got in bed, I pulled the covers up and turned over away from him.
After a moment I heard him turn over as well.
-Leon's POV-
I turned over and looked at her. Her hair covered some of her, though partial bits of her shoulder and neck were exposed.
The dim moonlight was all that was needed to view her.
Every day she tells me stories about us, about me.
Though I still don't remember any of it. I at times feel a sense of nostalgia but I can't recollect any of it.
Though looking up I noticed Luna above me.
This moment seemed almost like a dream, instances, where this same picturesque being sat looking down at me, played back and forth in my sights.
Almost as though I hit my head and saw doubles or flashes of this moment. (Think of him seeing her compared to the past memories of this same scene.)
Though the other glimpses of such a being didn't have this look on her face.
She stared down at me with a look that made me feel oddly sad.
I almost wanted to reach for her cheek and cuddle her till she felt better.
Her hands grasped my shirt, looking down.
My heart pounded, I still didn't have my past memories so such acts close to this were new and unexpected.
Luna: "I miss this.."
-to be continued
The next few chapters will be a little erotic, just a heads up.
