Chapter 490 She’s With Irwin
In Wexford, Irwin and Cedric were both anxiously concerned that Natalie might discover something.
As this tension thickened, Lucas suddenly appeared at Casey’s villa. Both of them emanated a visible tension, and the atmosphere around them felt charged with urgency.
The person before him was clearly a woman, but she was dressed as a man. Lucas furrowed his. brows and asked, “How many people know you’re a woman?”
Everyone had been referring to Casey as a man because they had thought she was one.
Casey paused, taken aback.
Not many in Wexford knew that she was indeed a woman.
Casey had met Natalie twice, but Natalie was also likely unaware and had forgotten that Clyde had once told her that Casey was a woman.
“What’s it to you?” Casey’s tone grew cold.
“You…!”
“Get to the point,” Casey interjected impatiently. Over the years, their interactions had been minimal. She detested when people brought up her gender, as if being a woman made her less competent.
Given that few knew her secret in Wexford, it was rarely ever mentioned.
Since that was the way Casey was acting, Lucas got straight to the point. “Our master doesn’t want you to present Ms. Russell’s information to Madam!”
“Hah!” Upon hearing his directness, Casey let out a sarcastic laugh.
While the laugh was an immediate response, its masculinity made it sharper than usual.
“State your terms,” Lucas demanded.
Terms? Seriously?!
Seeing as he was so direct, it seemed he came prepared!
Before Casey could respond, Lucas continued, “If you think I don’t have the authority, you can discuss it with our master.”
Cedric? No way.
“I won’t see him!” Casey was straightforward, cutting right to the chase.

Lucas was silent.
“Everyone knows that your master is ruthless. Honestly, if he had been around these past years, Wexford would resemble a battleground!”
As she casually raised a glass of red wine, her short, sharp hairstyle made her look even more dashing. Lucas found himself momentarily blinded by the sight, and his expression darkened!
“You’re one of Clyde’s people. He wouldn’t harm you,” Lucas asserted.
With a hint of sarcasm, Casey responded, “I’ve never heard that there’s a good relationship. between our masters. I don’t think… your words hold any weight, do they?”
Lucas blinked, momentarily thrown off by her sharp words. When Casey was on her game, it was indeed challenging for men to keep up.
“So, what are your terms?” Lucas pressed.
With a smirk, Casey retorted, “Terms? There are none. But there is one other matter!”
She suddenly gave Lucas a mocking look
