Other reasons?
But she aborts the twins and tells him so, what can be other reasons?
As Leigh thinks this, he thinks about Chace's words and feels that Chace is right. If Jessie really doesn't want children, she can have an abortion abroad.
Leigh calms down. He says, "I'll go back and ask her. I won't scold her."
"You shouldn't have scolded her," Chace says.
Chace remembers the last time he takes Jessie to the hospital and what the doctor says, he glances at Leigh.
"Leigh, there's something I need to tell you."
"What?"
Chace looks at him with a solemn expression, "She doesn't want an abortion, but she can't keep this child."
Leigh doesn't reply.
"Do you remember the night when you were drunk, I took you to my place? The next morning, I called Jessie and she didn't respond. Then I went to her room and found that she was covered in cold sweat. I sent her to the hospital."
Chace sighs. "The doctor said that she was in poor health and advised her to have a child after she got better. I don't know how bad a woman's health can be, but it seems that if it's serious, she won't be able to give birth anymore."
Leigh does know that Jessie is in poor health. Previously, a doctor has told him. Hearing what Chace says, he feels guilty. It is his fault.
He grabs his hair, feeling helpless and painful. "I didn't mean to hurt her, I just..."
Chace pats him on the shoulder and comforts him, "It's fine. Don't blame yourself."
"I told you this because I hope that if she has a miscarriage, don't blame her and be nice to her. Justin knows a lot of doctors. Ask him for help. Maybe there will be a happy ending."
"Chace." Leigh moves his lips. After a while, he says, "Thank you very much."
If Jessie hasn't encountered Chace that day and is saved by him, something even more horrible may happen to Jessie.
Chace is surprised, and then he grins, "We are friends! If you feel grateful, just notify me when you have a good chance to earn money!"
Leigh punches him in the chest and smiles, "OK. I promise you."
"That's good!"
Not long after they chat, Chace answers a call and goes to the company to deal with things.
Before leaving, Chace turns to look at Leigh and says, "I know a bit about Angelina. I don't want to ask about her relationship with Jessie. I just want to know, is the car accident of Mr. Clay and the others related to you?"
"No." Leigh is indifferent and says coldly. "I'm not able to arrange that. God wants to punish them, and no one can prevent the accident."
With just one sentence, Chace understands everything.
"You're right. They deserve it." Chace shrugs his shoulders and leaves.
When he takes the elevator downstairs, Chace is still thinking about what Leigh has says.
Chace doesn't know what kind of feelings Leigh has for Jessie, but Leigh takes a risk to punish those people for her, he must care about her very much and put her in an important position.
Chace doesn't dare to do those things.
Chace sighs and says regretfully, "I really shouldn't have brought people with me!"
He doesn't expect that the woman he has saved on the way is actually his friend's wife.
Life is such a mess!

Leigh misses Jessie and drives back home early in the afternoon.
The servant opens the door and tells Leigh, "Ten minutes ago, a doctor came and he is upstairs chatting with Mrs. Lewis."
"OK."
