“I am coming.”

Louis dialled the house phone of the risk office and commanded, “Bring Amanda here.”

David didn’t leave and asked carefully after he hanging off the phone, “Mr. Smith, what’s wrong?”

“John has brought Lily away.”

Louis’s fingers were knocking against the table, seeming to be anxious.

He didn’t care what David’s expression was now and asked in a deep voice, “Have you found anything strange when you delivered the data to John the day before yesterday?”

“No, Mr. John acted as the normal.” David responded.

However, he suddenly reminded of something and continued, “I checked the news in the morning and found HS Company changed a new CEO.”

Louis’s expression suddenly changed. He fisted and knocked on the table hardly, saying, “He can ignore the bet with his father in order to take Lily away!”

“I am sorry, Mr. Smith, I slept too tight yesterday.” David was a light sleeper.

Maybe because he didn’t feel comfortable last night, he felt his head was heavy and fell asleep until the next day.

He hurriedly called back when finding he missed Louis’s call after he woke up.

Sofia didn’t notice his phone was shutdown, otherwise, she would help to charge.

David took out his phone and said in the meantime, “I will call the aerospace company…”

Louis interrupted him, “I have informed all places I could after Lily was taken away last night. All of them told me they didn’t find them.”

David was confused and asked, “Then how could Mr. John bring Mrs. Smith away?”

Louis replied coldly, “Yorkshire is my place. John will not be foolish.”

At this time, someone was knocking the door.

Louis assumed it was Amanda. He commanded David to focus on doing his job and let him leave.

Amanda came in when David was leaving, “Do you need me, Mr. Smith?”

Louis glanced at her. She was in business suit, looking young and skilful. Her standing posture was different from the others when she left a little space between two legs. It seemed she had been trained and did it subconsciously.

Louis asked, “How many people your young master has arranged in the Smith Group?”

Amanda replied, “Just me.”

Louis stood up, went across the table and came in front of her. Then he asked from above, “Where did he bring Lily?”

Amanda stepped backwards because of Louis’s pressure and answered, “I don’t know.”

Louis didn’t beat her and said, “I’d better think it twice. Yorkshire is not his place and he can’t decide whether you can leave here or not.”

Amanda remained calm and replied, “Mr. Smith, I won’t tell you even if I know where he is. Lily can only be happy with him.”

Louis tried to control himself and said, “Lily is my wife. She’s pregnant and can’t get too tired.”

Amanda smiled, stared at him and asked, “When she was caught in the police, she was already pregnant. I have heard she called you several times, but you didn’t pick it up.”

Louis admitted he did the wrong thing and replied, “I was abroad at that time and didn’t carry my phone with me.”

Amanda said, “You just don’t care about her. Mr. John has arranged me in Yorkshire to protect her. He said she was an important person to him and let me protect her with my own life.”

Then she stopped for a while and continued, “If it were not me who got to the police station, she would be dead now.”
