Actually, Stella had never offended Sofia before. It was a bit confusing to figure out why Sofia wanted to set her up.

However, it suddenly occurred to Louis that Sofia could have access to the top secret of the Smith Group with the help of David once she engaged in a relationship with him. What was more, he was told by John that Jonathan had planted a spy among the senior managers of the Smith Group. At the thought of that, Louis, squinting, seemed to figure everything out.

With the help of the capable spy, Jonathan could still easily manipulate his power even if he was in another city.

“Louis?” Mrs. Lou couldn’t help asking as she noticed that Louis still remained silent, “Shall we catch her?”

“No, just hold on. I need to figure out something before that.” Louis needed to make sure if Sofia was the culprit who conspired to arrest Lily. If so, Louis would definitely plan for a revenge.

Staring at his back, Mrs. Lou was overwhelmed with upset and frustration. Both Daniel and his wife fell into coma because of her wrong doing. Now the retribution came straight to her and she deserved it.

During this period of time, Louis had been fully occupied. And so was David.

He still failed to find out the hidden spy who ruined the project between the Smith Group and Ocean International Company, which Louis was exceedingly disgruntled about. What was worse, he also got a lot of works to do. That really exhausted him.

He had never been so eager to find out where was Lily.

Being pushed by Louis recently, he even felt like quitting.

Today was the birthday of Sofia. David had already planned for an unexpected celebration for her—he told her that he would be too busy to spend time with her tonight. When he was about to log out, he clicked on an unread message by accident. As he was going to shut the message panel, something caught his attention, ‘Burnell is DEAD.’

When he saw the message, he suddenly ran into a pause.

He saw from Sofia’s chat history with someone named S from her friend list that she was lucky enough to follow John’s advice that she made Lily out of Yorkshire at that time, so that everything went on smoothly.

Obviously, David was shocked when seeing that.

It turned out to be a fact that it was Sofia who instigated John to take Lily out of the city.

Though David was also aware that it was offensive to check other’s chat history without permission, he still couldn’t believe that Sofia actually conspired such an evil plan. He kept rolling to see more about the previous chat history, trying to figure out if it was just a misunderstanding.
