Chapter 286 The Stake Is Still Not Enough 

After ending the call, Finnegan didn’t ask Alisha to give him a ride. Instead, he took a taxi to Firebird Group. 

When he arrived, it was still working hours, so he decided to wait downstairs. 

When it was almost time to get off work, he sent a message to Bernice, saying that he had already arrived at the ground floor of Firebird Group office. 

A few minutes after the message was sent. Bernice appeared where he was,

With a nod, Bernice said, “Uncle Bishop’s family has always harbored ill intentions toward us. Aunt Sapphire even repeatedly picked fights with my mom Now that they want to apologize to you, perhaps. they don’t want my parents to be present!” 

It seemed to make sense after hearing Bernice’s explanation, but Finnegan still felt that something was off. 

If they’re going to apologize, does it really matter if there’s anyone around to witness it? Doesn’t it seem more sincere 

when there’s someone present? 

Seeing the joy on Bernice’s face, Finnegan didn’t voice his doubts. “Let’s go then.” 

“Wait for a moment. I’ll go get the car.”

Hailey was taken aback. “Mr. Larkin, the Sable family owns thirty-seven percent of Regi Group’s shares. Giving up twenty percent would mean losing control. Isn’t that enough?” 

It meant that Finnegan would be the largest shareholder of Regi Group moving forward. 

Finnegan glanced at the setting sun in the distance. “You’re pretty familiar with the Sable family, aren’t you! 

Hailey didn’t know why Finnegan was asking this, but she didn’t dare to question him. “I am.” she said. 

Finnegan sneered. “It seems that three deaths are still not enough. Among the remaining members of the Sable family, pick out those you despise and those who have committed wrongdoings, and then kill them all! As for the res, don’t worry about it. Let Reginald figure it out on his own.” 

After he finished, Finnegan hung up the phone because Bernice had already driven over.
