Chapter 105
Naturally, John sent those recordings to Cordy without saying anything.
He probably thought that he could let her take the initiative by giving her all the evidence he needed.
She just had to show everything to completely destroy Kyle’s reputation, and Kyle would just humiliate himself if he attempted to explain himself at all.
And yet, despite all the respect John showed Cordy in this case, she still could not bring herself to trust anyone other than herself.
Meanwhile, Noel’s face turned deathly pale after listening to the recording.
She used to think him handsome and incredible, only for him to turn out to be a bumbling fool, so careless in his work that even Cordy could catch him red–handed!
This time, there was no way to explain this
If Kyle was not involved in the attempt to slander Cordy, why would he go out of his way to ask the media to harass Cordy?
Whatever explanation they offered would be pointless.
“What do you have to say now, Noel Sachs?!” a journalist demanded resoundingly. “You and Kyle Jessop were behind the malicious slander on Cordy Sachs! To think that you’re that vile behind that harmless face!”
“Forget stealing your sister’s man, Noel Sachs–you want her inheritance as well! It’s just inches away from murdering from money, or don’t you have a conscience at all?!”
“So Kyle Jessop was the one behind the scandal… He did all that just to knock down Starstream Fashion’s sales!”
As the journalists put all the pieces together and unraveled the truth, Cordy did not even have to offer further explanation.
Meanwhile, Noel was still stubbornly refusing to admit it. “I–I really didn’t do anything…”
After all, they did not have definitive evidence against her, and she would rather die than admit anything even if everyone knew it was her.
“Ms. Sachs. The journalists ignored Noel just then, turning back to Cordy and asking. “Do you have anything to say, after being so thoroughly victimized by the man you loved and your own sister?
