Chapter 141 

BOOK 2 CHAPTER II 

HARIETTE’S POV 

The first thing I felt was numbness. What followed was blood. And then, the pain. 

I hissed loudly as I stared at my arm. I watched my blood gushing out. I clamped my palm on the spot and held it tightly while waiting for it to heal. I lifted my head to see the girl smiling. Was I expecting her to feel sorry for hurting me? 

Not But the mockery on her face riled me up.

I took me less than three seconds to heal up unlike other wolves and I stood straight. I’d never had an explanation for that, nor did Mother knew was that Harriette healed within seconds. 

True to my nature, I could feel the pain receding within three seconds and 1 suddenly felt nothing but numbness

“Listen, you broke the rule first, alright?” 

I told her. I turned to Mika so that it could be known but the shock I saw on their faces wasn’t what I was expecting,

I charged towards her with everything in me and just like Mikahad advised, I attacked her like she was an animal. I grabbed her neck and threw her to the ground 

She tried to stand up almost immediately but I punched her bead and she fell flat, almost losing consciousness. 

The crazy thing was I wasn’t done. Before I could attack her again, I felt a hand trying to stop me but I twisted on my feet, and I heard the bones cracking. 

I turned to the one person I wanted to kill my eyes blazing with fury and anger. I wanted to break her bones one after another till there were no bones intact in her body. 

Suddenly, something heavier than me pushed me to the ground, holding me down. I wanted to fight back but I couldn’t. It wasn’t just what was holding me down, it was who 

It was Alpha Rowan. 

That was when my ears became unclogged and I could hear everything around me. 

What the hell just happened? What just happened to me

A female voice yelled again and my heartbeat suddenly rapidly began racing 

My mouth went dry and a piercing loud noise erupted in my head. 

“Calm down, Harnette. Breathe! Breathe!!” Rowan’s voice echoed in my head. My eyes were still wide open as I tried to figure out what just happened.

Rowan finally let go of me. I tried breathing properly. I turned to my right and stared at the lady I just fought 

She was lying down there, breathless, and bleeding. To my right was Mika, holding her arm in her hands. 

Another person had a deep gash on their thighs.

He nodded slowly. All that I asked again

“Why didn’t you tell us you were an Alpha?” 

My eyes snapped to Rowan. “A what?” I asked. 

“You’ve got Alpha blood. You heal fast, you move fast and your claws are stronger,” he said. 

“I didn’t bring out my claws.” I answered. 

He pointed at my hand. I stared down to really see my claws. I pulled them back in and stood up, 

“I don’t have Alpha blood, it’s years of training” 1 spat 

I looked around to see everyone staring at me. I’ve done some damage bere. That was the reason why I didn’t want to fight. Mother said I didn’t have control of my temper and I must try to avoid situations that would put me on the spot like this. 

Tears slipped down my eyes as I took another glance at the girl. I didn’t even know if she lived or if she died. 

I deserved to die 

“What’s my punishment?” I asked through tears. 

Rowan kept on staring at the without giving me an answer. I didn’t want to look at him 

I felt like a monster. 

“Anger management classes. I presume.”

face, he turned serious and I could see the apologetic look on his face. 

1 turned on my heel and ran out of there. I kept running without looking back or stopping. 

At some point, I fell to the ground. My knees were bruised in the process but I didn’t bother because I knew it would heal soon. 

The tears didn’t stop either. I ignored the weird looks I got from everyone.

I ran back to the room I shared with Ella. She stood up from the bed once she saw me walking into the room.
