Tears welled up in Isabella’s eyes once more as she gazed at Anthony before her with a complex expression. 

“Why’s be so cautious? He’s changed like a totally different person, she mused. 

She had made up her mind to go separate ways with him upon his recovery. Then again, she wavered. 

“Stop crying” Anthony wiped Isabella’s tears off. T’ll never wander off again. I’ll make sure to let you know I’m safe, always, okay?” 

Tabella burst into tears as if she was finally able to vent her emotions.

Anthony was not disappointed to be greeted by Isabella’s resistance. Instead, he grasped her hand more tightly and felt sorry for Isabella. 

He had no recollection of his past deeds, but from Isabella’s words, he knew that he had hurt her deeply, which was why he must find a way to make up for it. 

Hunk and the others noticed Anthony’s mixed expression and finally compromised. 

“Mr. Clara, even if you don’t intend to return to the Clara family, please let us follow you.”

As they got out not far from Serene Sanctuary, one of the subordinates asked Hunk, “Hunk, are we just gonna leave?” 

Hank beheld Serene Sanctuary from afar and sighed deeply. “Since Mr. Clara didn’t want us to follow him around, we could only guard him in the shadows. I’ll be counting on you guys.”
