Back home, Connor crouched down and immediately dug through the shopping bag, pulling out a pair of matching slippers. He unwrapped them and slipped them onto Camila’s feet.

Seeing his eagerness, Camila couldn't help but smile, her eyes twinkling with joy. She kicked off her high heels and steadied herself by holding onto his shoulders.
