"Should we switch rooms?" Connor's voice was soft as he crouched in front of her.
"Huh?" Camila blinked slowly, looking puzzled.
"Move into the master bedroom," he coaxed gently, almost like he was talking to a child.
Camila suddenly sat up and shook her head.
"Then I'll move into your room," Connor said with a playful glint in his eyes and a smirk tugging at his lips.
Camila pouted, watching him for a few seconds. Connor's determined expression made it clear that he wasn't going to back down. She realized she had no choice but to share a room and bed with him.
Thinking about her own bedroom with its soft pink bedding and girly decor, she knew it didn't suit him at all.
With a sigh, she said, "Let's move into your bedroom."
Connor pulled her close and gave her a quick kiss. "I'll help you pack," he said cheerfully.
"Together," Camila agreed, getting up from the sofa.
Most of her clothes and belongings were still at her apartment, so she hadn't brought much with her. Packing didn't take long.
As she watched Connor hanging her clothes in his wardrobe, she felt a strange mix of emotions.
It was past ten, and Camila was starting to feel sleepy.
She rubbed her eyes and whispered, "I'm going to take a shower. I'm exhausted."
Connor replied, "I need a shower too."
Camila shot him a look. "You can use the guest bathroom. Stay out of mine."
Her cheeks turned pink as she playfully added, "No touching tonight. I have work tomorrow and need a good night's sleep."
Connor chuckled, "Alright, I promise."
After their showers, Connor wrapped his arms around Camila as they lay in bed.
