After rinsing her mouth, Camila turned and planted a quick kiss on his lips. “Hurry up and brush your teeth and wash your face, or we’ll miss the sunrise and I’ll bite you.”
With that, she wriggled out of his embrace and walked out of the bathroom. Connor gave her a quick glance, splashed his face with cold water, and started brushing his teeth.
Camila had already changed into her clothes, and there were only a few minutes left until sunrise. The bathroom door opened, and Camila looked up to see Connor, still not having tied his robe, his toned body on full display, including his still-awake little brother.
Two words popped into Camila’s mind: lazy and erotic. Even after seeing Connor's bare body countless times, his appearance still managed to dazzle her, causing a slight flush on her cheeks.
She looked away and urged, “Hurry up and get dressed, or we’ll be late.”
Once Connor was ready, they made their way to the deck. A blanket had been laid out, with a thick quilt beside it, and two cups of hot tea were waiting.
“They are really thoughtful,” Camila remarked, pleasantly surprised.
Connor looked at her, “Shouldn’t you be praising your boyfriend?”
“Praise, praise,” Camila replied, then stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the lips.
Connor smiled contentedly. The two of them settled on the deck, wrapped in the thick quilt, feeling warm despite the chill in the air.
Camila held a cup of hot tea, quietly waiting for the sunrise over the sea. A gentle breeze brushed her face, carrying the freshness and saltiness of the ocean, making her feel utterly relaxed and peaceful.
Gradually, the horizon began to lighten, and the sun started to rise, its golden light shimmering on the water's surface. Initially a deep orange, it gradually transitioned to a warm yellow, then to a bright yellow, the layered colors intoxicatingly beautiful.
Camila watched the direction of the sun, while Connor watched her. The contours of her bare face outlined by the sunlight looked almost angelic, unreal in its beauty.
