“Present!” Melody and Yoel answered at the same time. “Escort this man out of this place now so he can stop harassing our Freya!” 

Master Duncan said as he wheeled Freya away, “Let’s go, Freya. Who cares about his trash? I have so much turmeric powder in my room. You can take as much as you want.” 

Lucas’ face sank as he watched the man wheeled Freya away. 

He could not help but wonder who that man was. Was that Freya’s new potential partner? Seth stayed back in Lundon after the show because of his upcoming advertisement gig. 

Sage and Tim went back to Birmingham by themselves. On the way back, Tim received an email and said to Sage, “Yale had just arrived at Salem.” “Hm?” Sage paused and asked, “What is he doing in Salem?” “Jekyll will be sent back to Tovres soon, and Yale will need to be there to sort some things out. 

Sage understood immediately what Tim was referring to and asked, “Will he be able to find out things about dad and mom?” 

“We’ve been through and have done worse. We naturally would have our ways of getting the answer we want,” Tim said calmly, reassuring Sage of Yale’s abilities. 

Sage became excited upon hearing that. Over at Salem City, Yale had just stepped out of the airport when Luther picked him up and left the airport, heading toward Skye Hotel. Luther was expressing his gratitude to Yale when they were both in the car. “Captain Yale, I can’t thank you enough for saving our sister. You’ve essentially just saved five men’s lives. Sage’s life is our lives!” 

Yale was reminded of the time when Sage flew into Tim’s embrace and wailed, his gray eyes curved as he smiled satisfyingly. “I saved her, and she saved me as well. Sage is a really capable person after all.” “Capable? We’d be grateful enough as long as she stopped being a reckless girl who worries us all the time.” Since Yale is Cece’s brother, Luther felt like he was talking to a family. Upon arriving at Skye Hotel, they ran into Jace, who was posting a letter.

“Hey, Jace.” Luther had become friendly with Jace and greeted him. Jace nodded at him and looked over to Yale. The two of them exchanged brief eye contact, and both felt oddly familiar with each other. 

“Let me introduce you. This is Captain Yale.” 

“And this is Jace, my ex-brother-in-law,” Luther introduced them to each other. 

Yale raised his brows in slight confusion. 

Luther added, “Oh, he’s Sage’s ex-husband.”
