Chapter 731 “Okay.” Tim had given his word, so Luther did not bother asking Sage and insisted on going to Nadeem City with her. 

Sage had no objections to this request. Luther could come with her if he wished to anytime. Anyway, she would be traveling back and forth between two cities and Nadeem City was not too far from Salem City. Everyone finished the food on the table and was filled to the brim. After that, they went for a walk in the garden. Sage did not each much during the meal, but she drank a lot and got a little drunk. She had a flight to catch tomorrow, so she had to go to bed early today. She walked upstairs shakily and something suddenly came up on her mind. She turned back to Tim and said, “By the way, Tim, can you talk to Yale when you visit him? It‘ll help him with his road to recovery. If there‘s anything odd, tell me as soon as possible.” Tim‘s blue eyes flickered slightly. “Okay,” he promised. “Alright, good night then.” “Good night.” 

After saying good night to each other, Sage went back to her room with a heavy head. She went to the bathroom and took a brief shower. Then, she packed her luggage. 

She had a special suitcase for business trips. She kept her clothes and daily necessities in it at all times, this was so that she would not need to pack for her trip every time she had to leave. She just had to pack more whenever necessary. 

Sage walked to the closet and flipped the switch. She pressed it gently, revealing a secret storage room behind the closet. There were bouts of treasure stored inside. Most of Jace‘s gifts were kept inside too, including the colorful enamel bowl, antique porcelain, jewel brooches, and the painting, The Starry Night. When did he give her all these things? He left many gifts for her in Fairview Residence in Nadeem City. She had yet to open them all actually. 

She used to shower him with gifts as well. Later, he was the one that returned the favor. The man did not understand love, but he learned from her old ways and showered her in love the 

same way she did before. 

Sage did not dare to look back on certain memories. Even she could not understand how things had come to this point. 

She closed the storage room and returned to the bedroom. She then opened the drawer, which contained a hairpin that had been broken in two. 

The blood on it was not completely wiped off and had seeped into the grain of the wood. 

When Sage touched the hairpin, the scene where Jace lay on a stretcher lifelessly flashed before her eyes again. Tht caused her heart to shiver. 

She put the hairpin into a long case and put it in her bag. 

The next day, the brothers left Rosa Garden with their families after breakfast. 

Sage was ready to go to the airport with Wayne, Luther, and Louis. When they landed in Nadeem City, Zayne greeted them. He had been waiting at the exit and waved at them from a distance. 

“Miss Sage, it must have been a long journey.” Zayne graciously took the luggage from Sage and inquired with a smile, “Should we go back to the Yuriel family‘s old residence or Looming District first?” 

It was already autumn, but Nadeem City was still felt very warm. The afternoon sun was blazing hot and stifling. “Let‘s go to the office now.”
