Chapter 776
Sage sat up in the bed suddenly. Her legs cramped from her sudden force.
“Ouch..” She frowned in pain and clicked into the Twidder account named ForeverEighteen. What a narcissist name! It reminded her too much of her mother!
Sage could not stop thinking about it once the seeds of doubt were planted in her heart. She shuddered at the thought of it and got goosebumps all over. Then, she jumped out of bed and took her laptop over. She began to check on the motherly fan‘s account.
She tried hacking, but she could not break through! The account owner had set up layers of protection, keeping her information safe.
D*mn!
Sage‘s eyes were red. She called Luther right away. “Luther, remember the motherly fan you told me about?” “Yeah. What‘s up?” Luther said, “Hey, I‘m giving out movie tickets to the Skye Hotel staff. They‘ll go to the theatre and support you. I‘m so generous, isn‘t it?” “Forget about that for now! Quickly help me check this Twidder account‘s information!” Luther was startled by the excitement in Sage‘s voice. “What‘s wrong? Did the motherly fan call you out? Did she stop being your fan? Well, she did criticize you a lot.” Luther paid more attention to Sage‘s Twidder‘s comments than she did. He had seen the motherly fan‘s comment many times. He remembered when Sage made a video of her washing dishes after losing a bet with Grandpa Wayne. Luther laughed unkindly and left a comment in Sage‘s post, [I didn‘t think you would have this day. You‘re a newbie at washing dishes. Lazy girl!] The Twidder account ForeverEighteen replied to his comment, (Are you not lazy? Roll eyes. You‘re the lazier one here. Don‘t pick on the lazy little girl!) Luther saw ForeverEighteen‘s comment, and it reminded him of their mother. Were mothers in the world all the same?
Luther got out of the elevator and walked into his room. He said nonchalantly, “You‘re so lazy. It‘s just a netizen‘s ID. Can‘t you check it yourself? Why do you need my help?” “Cut the crap! Hurry up! She‘s set up a strong protection. I can‘t break through!”
Luther‘s eyes widened upon hearing that. “What?!” God knew how long he had heard Sage say that. Were there still accounts that she could not break into?
“Don‘t panic! I‘ll be right there!” When Luther went into his room, he stopped acting nonchalantly and got serious. He put his
phone aside and began to work on cracking the account. Meanwhile, on the island, Jace and the others were having dinner.
The dinner was a little late because someone failed at their first cooking attempt and had to try again. There was a big plate of fish and pepper on the table. Primrose took a big serving for herself.
Jace pursed his lips nervously and watched her reaction. “How is it? Is it spicy?” he asked softly.
Primrose nodded and answered, “It‘s spicy, but it tastes just right this time. It‘s strong.” Jack Millet ate with relish. He gave Jace a thumbs up and praised him. “Delicious! You‘ll be better than Sawyer with a few more practice.” Primrose nodded. “I support you! You‘ll be better than him!” Sawyer said blankly, “Not so soon. You‘ll need to practice for another eight to ten years.”
