Chapter 792 A cold murderous intent flashed in Sage’s eyes as the attackers stabbed her.
She lifted her hand and grabbed the assailant’s wrist. She wrenched his arm, broke his arm, and took the dagger from his hand. Then, she turned her hand and cut the other man’s neck with the blade.
The blood spurted out, and a few drops of blood splattered on Sage’s face.
The man subconsciously covered his neck. His eyes turned more vicious when he felt the blood on his hand.
The elevator space was very cramped. Sage and the man in black got into a hard fight. The bodyguards pressed the buttons on the elevator and tried to get the elevator up. However, all the buttons were out of order.
The elevator door was about to close. It was almost too late when the two bodyguards pushed Sage out of the elevator and fought with the two men in black.
At last, the elevator closed in front of Sage. Sage kept pressing the elevator button, but it was not responding. She was so angry that she kicked the elevator door fiercely. She took out her phone and wanted to call Yale. Just as she was about to dial his number, a cold wind swooshed from behind. She subconsciously ducked sideways and evaded the attack. Unfortunately, the phone in her hand was thrown out at the same time. It flew to the corner and was crushed to pieces under someone’s foot. The men in black ambushed her in the underground parking lot and surrounded her from all sides.
Sage’s eyes turned murderous. She was just complaining a few days ago about how Tim forced her into months of useless training. Well, it was finally time for her to put her training into use.
“Who sent you here? Shawn?” she questioned coldly. The men in black stared at her intently. They were all silent and had sharp blades in their hands.
The murderous intent flared in the air.
Sage pulled out the Browning gun Tim had given her from the back of her waist and loaded it.” This is an unfair fight with the few of you men surrounding a woman like me. I won’t hold back.”
Several gunshots were fired in the silent underground parking lot. The cars screeched and made loud noises as they evaded the shots.
Sage fought her way out of the elevator and took down a few men. However, she was not in a good state. She got a cut on her face and a deep stab on her right arm.
Blood was gushing out of her wound and trickled down her right arm. She could not hold the gun in her right hand anymore.
There were four bullets left. She was reserving the last for herself. She would never give Shawn a second chance to catch her again!
However, she did not want to die yet. She still had not seen her parents or said goodbye to her brothers. How could she die like that?
Sage quickly ran forward, but the men in black were still on the chase. She was strong and would fight, but she was outnumbered and hurt.
The wound on her right arm worsened. Blood dripped down to the ground.
Her artery was punctured. Sage’s face whitened. She did not know how much longer she could hold out.
She only hoped that Yale would get her soon. She had to hold out until he arrived!
Her car keys were still with the bodyguards. She could not open the door, so she had to break it violently. When she ran to her car, she found more men in black waiting to ambush her there. Screech!
She had to turn around again. She did not know how many people Shawn had sent to get her this time. Did he surround the underground parking lot?!
Sage kept running until she was suddenly hit by the handle of a knife. She fell to her knees and hit her knees hard on the ground.
The men in black were about to catch up with her. Suddenly, a car came flying from a short distance away, knocking several of them away. The car stopped in front of her with abrupt stop. The window winded down and revealed a man wearing a black baseball cap and a black mask. He ordered succinctly, “Get in!” Sage widened her eyes in shock. She stiffened when she heard that familiar voice. Whose voice was it? It was not Yale’s. Who was it? Why… Why did it sound so much like… him?
She froze and stood motionlessly.
The men in black who had spread out chased after her again because of her short pause. The man in the car had no choice but to jump out of the window. He fired a few shots at the
assailants
