Chapter 833 Laura said it really casually because she really did not think it was a big deal. After that, she asked again, “So do you need it? I can help you.” The atmosphere in the room suddenly became inexplicably stranger after she finished talking. She turned around to look and suddenly discovered that there were many people in the room. 

Ross was just coming out of the bathroom with Tim. Sawyer and Primrose were standing by the door. They wanted to come to visit Tim and Kane and did not expect to hear such a conversation... What an exciting thing to hear early in the morning. 

So many emotions passed through Kane‘s face. He pressed his lips and thought, ‘Look at my silly wife.‘ 

“You must be Laura.” Primrose broke the silence. She was a social butterfly that could handle any awkward situation. Thus, she was the first one to greet Laura. 

Laura looked at the woman in front of her. The woman had a face of an angel and a beautifully shaped body. She and Sage looked quite alike. Laura was stunned and nodded her head. “Umm ... Are you Sage‘s sister?” She knew Sage has a few brothers but she never heard Sage ever mentioning a sister... Although many people had said the same thing in the past, it had been a long while since Primrose heard it. It still felt very good hearing it again after so many years. 

Primrose smiled, “I‘m not her sister. I‘m her mother.” 

Laura was dumbfounded. ‘My future mother–in–law looks so young!! 

There were more than enough men in the house so it would be up to Laura to take care of Kane. Her future father–in–law and mother–in–law would not allow it. 

Primrose told Laura solemnly, “Women in this house do not have to take care of the men. The only thing that we need to do is to accept the love from them.” 

Sage sighed and stayed quiet. Afraid that her mother steered Laura in a questionable outlook in life. After that, Laura went upstairs with Sage to change her combat suit. She looked fresher after getting a shower. Sage told her the simplified version of the whole story and Laura quickly acknowledged the fact that her future in–laws were still alive. 

Maybe Kane and Sage had always mentioned them to her, so she had a feeling that they had always been around. Hence, she was not very surprised to see them. However, she jumped up from the couch when she received the information that Jace was still alive. 

“What?! Jace is not dead?!” 

Yoel and Cole were still sleeping in the room after the drinks from last night. On the other hand, Jace had already started his morning exercise in the garden. Assuming that Sage was already awake, he hesitated if he should send her a message. Even so, Sage still requested to video called him. 

Without any hesitation, Jace quickly accepted the call but Laura‘s face appeared instead.
