Dave had offended Sage and was not even given a chance to eat. He was furious because of the humiliation he faced in front of the client. 

He sat in the car with a grim face on the way back. He was so angry that Sienna was scared and dared not even breathe. 

Sienna knew she was in trouble. She would have been leaning on him and coaxing him softly on any other day, but she was very distracted. she had been in a daze since she saw Jace and Sage earlier. The image of Jace and Sage filled her mind, making her feel uncomfortable. 

It was unpleasant. 

Dave sat in the passenger seat and ordered his driver in a deep, muffled voice, “Lynch, stop the car and go for a smoke.” 

The car stopped by the side of the road. Sienna looked out the window and did not know where she was. When she saw a familiar-looking bush, she vaguely knew it was near the apartment. 

Ten minutes to the east from here was a middle-to-high-end community. It was also the place where Dave used to hide his mistress. 

Well, she was his mistress. 

The treatment she received was much worse than her previous lovers. However, it was difficult for her to win against a man like him. “Ah!” Sienna whimpered in pain when he grabbed her hair. She saw his menacing cold eyes when he pulled back her head. 

As she realized what Dave was about to do, her heart trembled.

Dave was rough. He pulled her hair to hold her down on her knees. Then, he squeezed her cheek with his large hand. 

“What did you call me?” Dave narrowed his eyes. He was very different from the friendly and flattering Dave in front of Sage. 

Most businessmen were eccentric, short-tempered, and unpredictable. It was Sienna’s first time seeing him so angry. She faltered and called out to him again, “Honey…” Before she could finish speaking, she got slapped heavily on her face, which knocked her to the side. 

“Argh!” Sienna yelped in pain with glazed eyes. Then, the man pulled her by the hair again. Dave grabbed her by the neck and pinned her to the seat, making her gasp for air. 

Dave spat in her face and cursed, “Who do you think you are to call me Honey? If my wife allowed me to go home, do you think you’ll ever serve me? Feeding you is no different from 

feeding a cat. It’s just a matter of some money. How dare you think highly of yourself and use my name to show your power outside? You made me offend Miss Sage. Can you f*cking pay for my loss?” He grabbed her by the neck and pushed her hard against the window. Sienna felt like her neck and head were about to break as she gasped for air.
