It was hard to divide the assets, so his wife had not divorced him yet. He might become poor and lose his home after the divorce. 

He moved slightly harder and pulled Sienna’s hair so hard that her scalp hurt. 

Sienna opened her mouth and gasped. She thought he would make other moves on her, but he suddenly stopped. His angry face disappeared. Even so, he still had a stern face. “Answer me honestly. What’s your problem with Sage? Who is Jace?” 

Half of Sienna’s face was still red and swollen. Even the corner of her mouth cracked, looking quite pitiful. 

Dave looked at her pitiful appearance, but he did not feel soft-hearted for her. Sienna read Dave’s emotion and did not dare to tell him the whole story. She only said that Sage’s ex-husband used to like her and that they were love rivals.

He pondered for a moment and looked down at the woman kneeling between his legs. He sneered suddenly. “Sage’s ex-husband was after you? Was he blind?” 

Sienna remained silent. She thought to herself, ‘I almost married her ex-husband too!’ 

However, Dave did not seem interested in her and did not bother to investigate. She did not dare to say more in front of him. 

Dave tapped his knees with his fingers as a meaningful glint flashed across his eyes. 

Sienna went back to the apartment. Dave did not stay and left to visit his wife and children at home. 

Sienna sneered in disdain. If he really loved his wife and family so much, why would he have a mistress? Men are all the same. They would pretend to be more affectionate than anyone else. In reality, they were the most heartless and selfish people. 

Sienna’s cheeks and mouth still hurt. She kept cursing at Dave while she looked into the mirror and treated her wound. She put some medicine on her face and used an ice pack to ease the pain. 

“Every time I meet Sage, nothing good happens! 

Sienna felt really unlucky today. However, meeting Jace was a pleasant surprise! After thinking about it, she took out her mobile phone and called Luna. The call connected after several beeps. “Hey, Aunt Luna…” Sienna greeted warmly. 

However, Luna was very cold. “If you have something to say, just say it.”
