013’s answer did not dispel the doubts in Hesper’s mind. Instead, it made her even more confused. After waiting for a flight attendant to pass by, Hesper whispered, ‘Second question. Why do you want to kill me? Don’t tell me it’s because of Juniper. She doesn’t have any relationship with you anymore, right?” 

“Well… 013 chuckled softly in Hesper’s ear. “You’re smarter than Juniper. She’s such an idiot. As her partner, I warned her not to do anything without planning, but she was too foolish and wouldn’t listen.” 

The ear-popping sensation during takeoff made people feel slightly uncomfortable. 

“As for why I have to kill you… Well, that’s a good question. I guess it’s because I’m jealous of you, and in a way. I was born because of you.” 

Hesper frowned. 

She certainly did not think it was some sort of supernatural event, but what 013 said was strange. As Hesper pondered, a flash of insight struck her, and she had the answer in her mind. 

“You’re the second personality?” 

Myriade walked toward the gate of the base with a cold face, while Riley followed behind her. Just when she was about to step out of the gate, Riley reached out and grabbed her by her collar. 

Riley was a lot taller than Myriade, and she knew that she was just a child who sat in front of the computer all year round. She had not undergone any special training, so she was no match for someone like Riley who had been on missions outside for years. 

“If something happens to Hesper, Trez will be the first one to die. Why did you let him. go do whatever he wants? Are you out of your mind?” Zoya shouted exasperatingly. “He’s gone too far this time. How dare he do that on the plane? Don’t you know how long it took for Big T to handle. the last incident? This will ruin his plan.” 

Riley clicked his tongue and blinked his eyes innocently. “Really? It seems to me that Big T is actually enjoying it.” 

“Madness… All of you are crazy,” Myriade said as she tried to break herself free from Riley’s clutches. “Let go of me. I won’t go out, okay? I’ll go back and sit down. I want to see what will become of you and Trez.” 

“Suit yourself.” Riley pinched Myriade’s face. “But you can’t go anywhere now, Mimi. I’d already forgotten about you, and if you hadn’t showed up and reminded me, I would’ve forgotten that you could still communicate with Big T if you have any devices.” 

Myriade was taken aback. 

“Don’t even think about it,” Riley said, smiling from ear to ear. “I won’t let you touch any electronic devices, Mimi.” 

“You’ll regret it,” Myriade said. 

“Bravo, you’re far smarter than I imagined, Ms. Rivera. But I have to admit that I’m a coward who lacks love. I had been engaging him in meaningless fights when I was looking everywhere for you. It sickens me by just thinking about it.” 013 paused for a moment before continuing. “Do you not want to know some other stuff, Ms. Rivera? For example, I know a lot about your background. Are you not curious about your origin?”
