"I know, you've offended Liam and Janet this time, so you definitely won't be able to marry into the Gray family. But Mr. Shelton from the real estate industry is pretty good. Why don't you marry him?" William said casually.
Sierra's expression immediately changed. "Keon Shelton?"
"Oh? You've heard of him?" William raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised. "Good, that saves me the trouble of introducing him."
A cold laugh slipped from Sierra's lips, laced with mockery.
"Heh, you sure know how to pick them. Keon has assets worth billions. Although he can't compare to the Gray family, he's still a notable figure," Sierra commented.
He smirked proudly. "Exactly. I chose well, didn't I?"
She let out a scoff, a hint of cold, lonely bitterness curling at the corner of her lips. "Oh, he's great, alright—great enough to be your father."
William's face twisted in fury. "Sierra!"
"Did I say something wrong?" Her voice remained eerily calm, her eyes gleaming with disdain. "Keon is over 60. He's been married four or five times already, and every single one of his ex-wives left him battered and broken.
It seems like his last wife divorced just last year. She was only in her 30s but had been so tortured that she looked like she was in her 50s. She ended up with mental health issues and is still in a psychiatric hospital. The person you've chosen really is a great pick."
Vera instantly paled, and she quickly looked at William, saying, "William, how can Cee marry someone like him? Absolutely not!"
William's expression soured, surprised that Sierra knew so much about Keon, making it much harder to deceive her.
He coughed lightly and impatiently denied, "What she's saying are just rumors. Keon is just a bit older, but older men can be more caring. If you marry him, you won't be mistreated."
