Michael's P.O.V.
I sighed as I watched Mya walk away. I didn't mean to make her upset. I just didn't want people to stare at her body. I know she didn't understand but I guess....I was a little shocked.
"Mya!!" I called running after her. I just want this day to be special for her.
She ignored me and continued to walk faster.
"Mya!!" I yelled again.
This time she stopped and turned around. The sight of her face broke my heart into pieces.
Fresh tears flooded her face and her eyes were puffy and red. "Mya..." I sighed wiping her tears. She pushed my hand away harshly and trotted over to the benches by the food court. She plopped down on the seat and burried her face into her hands.
"Baby..." I said softly....she didn't answer. I slowly sat next to her but didn't speak. She sat like that for quite awhile but then slowly looked up wipping her tears. She had a distant look in her eyes.
"Daddy..." she said standing up and climbing into my lap. I rubbed her back softly and kissed her forehead. "It's ok princess...daddy's here." She shook her head and tightened her grip on my shirt. I'm starting to realize that's her thing when she needs comfort.
I slowly rocked her back and forth as the tremble in her hands began to slow down. "Baby there's no need to get worked up. You didn't know any better.."
It took her awhile but she slowly return to her regular happy state and looked up at me with big worried eyes.
"Daddy can we still go shopping?" I smiled and pecked her lips, she's so cute. "Of course we can still go shopping baby. Remember, this is your day and you can get whatever you want."
She smiled brightly and grabbed my hand, "Daddy let's go back to that store we just left!!! I really like it there!!"

"Oh oh daddy how about this one?" Mya asked, holding up an olive green jacket. I nodded trying to match her excitement, "It's nice babe!! You should get it!!" She smiled happily and placed the jacket in my arms.
She slowly sighed and placed her finger on her chin, making the thinking face. "Umm...I think I'm done daddy I'm ready for the hot air balloon now." I frowned as I adjusted the pile of clothing in my arms. "Baby we can still shop...you only picked clothes from one store." She shrugged, "I think that this is enough daddy."
I nodded, "Ok baby let's go pay for all this."
We waited on the long line for quite some time. Mya groaned, "we're gonna miss the whole day if they don't hurry up." I laughed and brushed her stray hairs from her face. "Baby you have to be patient...look were up next."
I carried the large pile of clothing and jewelry up to the lady at the register and her eyes widened. "Sir are you...purchasing all this?" I raised an eyebrow, "is that a problem?" She looked at me then back at the clothes. "No no sir I've just never seen anyone purchase this many pieces of clothing."
She quickly rang up everything and spoke quietly, "your total is $234.67."
I reached into my pocket pulling out my wallet. "Daddy noo!!" Mya gasped yanking my wallet from my hands.
"Let me put some stuff back."
I shook my head and gently took the wallet from her tiny hands. "Don't worry about it princess. I'm spoiling you rotten today. Money means nothing when it comes to you."
She sighed defeated, "are you sure..?" I nodded pecking her lips, "I positive baby....just let me take care of you, my queen."

We made it back to the car and Louis took our bags. "Hello Mr. Hoffstetter, how was the first part of your adventure." Mya giggled and answered for me. "It was fun Louis!! Daddy bought me a whole bunch of clothes!! We even bought something for you!!" Louis' eyes widened,
"w-what do you mean..?" Mya dug into the bag and pulled out a little box with Louis' name on it.
"Here you go.."
