You're Out, Daddy novel (Natasha and Kenneth) novel Chapter 839

Kenneth drove the car, with Natasha sitting in the passenger seat.

Natasha asked while looking outside, “Where are you taking me?”

Kenneth narrowed his eyes and reached over to hold her slender hand in his. “You'll find out once we get there.”

“How mysterious!” Natasha glanced at him.

Kenneth smiled slightly.

Thus, the car continued to travel down the road.

About half an hour later, the car came to a stop in a place resembling a small town.

Due to the narrow streets of the small town, they could only park their car at the entrance.

“Let's go,” Kenneth said.

Natasha pushed the car door open and got out.

“Where is this place?” Natasha asked softly as she walked up to Kenneth.

Kenneth looked ahead, and the corners of his mouth slightly raised in a faint, enigmatic smile. “This is where Dave and I were reborn.”

Natasha raised her eyebrows slightly. “Reborn?”

Kenneth nodded, then slowly began to recount the past events, “Back when I was adventuring with Dave, we offended quite a few people. We were pursued and almost died in this place.”

Upon hearing this, Natasha was surprised and asked, “Then what happened?”

“Then, we were fortunate enough to be saved by someone and narrowly escaped death,” Kenneth said.

Upon hearing this, Natasha let out a soft laugh and turned her elegant jawline to face him. “I already know the conclusion without you telling me. What I want to hear is the process.”

“The process...” Kenneth turned his head to glance at Natasha. Then, his pitch-black pupils gradually darkened as he said, “We were saved by a stranger. It was an old man who has been living in this area.”

“So, are we here to visit that elderly person today?” Natasha asked.

“He has already passed away,” he answered.

Natasha was slightly taken aback and looked at him. “Did they die of natural cause?”

Kenneth nodded. “Mhm.”

“All right then.”

“So, this is where Dave and I were reborn, and also the earliest place where DX Group was established,” Kenneth explained.

Upon hearing this, Natasha looked around and said, “Here? But it's quite peaceful and tranquil here!”

Kenneth looked at her with a smile, stretched out his hand, and said, “Let's go!”

Natasha directly placed her hand in his palm.

The two people walked hand in hand into the small town.

As Kenneth walked, he introduced, “This place didn't always look like this. It used to be quite poor, but it has changed now.”

When they entered the small town, there were not many people, but everyone had a contented smile.

Natasha listened to Kenneth's explanation and turned to look at him. “Such a significant change in just a few short years?”

Natasha's questions were always on point. Kenneth looked at her and said, “Because this place was rebuilt with Dave's financial support!”

Upon hearing this, a hint of surprise flashed across Natasha's brows.

“What? You don't believe me?” Kenneth asked.

Natasha shook her head. “It's not that I don't believe it. I just never expected it.”

“Don't be fooled by Dave's seemingly unruly appearance; deep down, he's more nostalgic than anyone and values loyalty and friendship greatly!” Kenneth said.

Upon hearing this, Natasha turned her head to look at him and asked, “What's wrong with Dave? He seems fine to me. How is he unruly?”

Upon hearing this, Kenneth's eyebrows slightly furrowed, and he stared at her intently. “Nat, isn't it a bit inappropriate to praise another man in front of your own man?”

“But he's your friend!” she retorted.

“Not even if he's my friend. You can't praise other men but me!” Kenneth emphasized while looking at her.

Natasha smiled and said, “But you know that's not what I meant!”
