On the other end of the phone, Nicholas roared at Christine and hung up, leaving no chance for her to respond.

Looking at the phone that was ringing, Christine curled her lips helplessly. She was really unlucky to have such a father.

She must have trampled all the shit in her previous life, so she was so unlucky in this life.

With her phone in her hand, Christine walked out of the room and knocked on the door of the study. "Are you still in the study, Darren?"

"Yes, come in!" Darren's low and pleasant voice came through the thick door to her ears, making her heart beat faster.

Christine pushed the door open and walked in. She stopped one meter away from the desk and cut to the chase. "I can't stay here tonight, Darren." She said.

"What?" The busy boss named Darren finally raised his noble head.

"My father called me just now and asked me to go back now. Maybe there is something wrong." Although she knew it was not a good thing, she was a member of the Luo family. She had the responsibility to protect the thing left by her mother.

Taking a glance at the wide robe of Christine, Darren said indifferently, "Well, someone will send clothes here later. Wait here."

After a short pause, it occurred to Christine that she hadn't got the phone number of Darren yet. She patted her smooth and full forehead, took out her mobile phone from her pocket and handed it to Darren.

"This is my number. Call me if you need me."

"Okay!" After taking the phone and taking a look at it, in order to make sure everything was okay, she called. She didn't stop until she heard the vibration of his phone in the study.

After putting away her phone and saying goodbye to Darren, Christine went downstairs with his assistant.

As soon as Christine came back home, she immediately went to the study of Nicholas.

In the study, with a gloomy face, Nicholas confronted his daughter. "Will you marry him or not?"

"Yes, but I don't have to marry the person you designated." Without any sign of weakness, Christine looked at her father, her eyes full of disappointment for her father.

"Well, since you don't want to marry him, I'll find a lawyer to sell everything of the Luo family now." Seeing that Christine had made up her mind to oppose him, Nicholas stopped making up a distressed father, he picked up the phone and was about to threaten her.
