After drinking water in the kitchen, Christine went back to her room. When she passed the dining table, she was called "little bitch" by Amanda innocently. However, Christine intended to ignore her.
When Christine stepped into the room again, it was empty.
It was not that all the things were missing, but that all the things were neatly tidied, not as messy as before, but much more spacious and bright.
"Miss Christine, Mr. Nicholas asked me to bring you the food. Would you like to eat now?"
Aunt Lucy was waiting at the door with hot food. Her aged eyes were slightly red, but she still stared at Christine lovingly.
Since Christine's mother passed away, Aunt Lucy had been the best to her in the Luo family.
"Aunt Lucy, come on in!" As Christine greeted Aunt Lucy, she happily reached out her hands to take the service plate from Aunt Lucy.
"Okay." Aunt Lucy wiped her red eyes, but she didn't give the service plate to Christine. Instead, she turned around and put it on the small table beside.
Although Nicholas didn't say anything, everyone in the Luo family had known that Miss Christine was going to get married. If she was not wrong, this should be the last time she served Miss Christine!
Aunt Lucy smiled bitterly. When Christine's mother passed away, she had repeatedly told Aunt Lucy to take good care of Miss Christine. However, so many years had passed, she had done nothing for Miss Christine.
"Aunt Lucy, what's wrong with you? What difficulties have you encountered?" Aunt Lucy had been wearing a long face since she came in. Of course, Christine noticed it.
"No, No." Aunt Lucy forced a smile at Christine. Her stiff smile blended with the wrinkles on her face, revealing a very ugly big smile.
"Aunt Lucy, if you have any difficulty, please tell me! Don't keep it to yourself. It will be very uncomfortable." Christine's love for Aunt Lucy had already surpassed all the people in the Luo family.
Aunt Lucy had been taking care of Christine for more than ten years. Although Christine didn't say anything, she kept it in mind.
"I'm really fine. But you're going to get married today, so I feel a little depressed." Aunt Lucy stroked Christine's little face with relief. She was like a good mother whose daughter was going to get married.
"Get married today? I just promised to marry Darren yesterday, didn't I? Why did you say that I would get married today? Aunt Lucy, are you mistaken?"
With a shocked look on Christine's face, Christine stared at Aunt Lucy, waiting for Aunt Lucy's answer eagerly.
"I don't know the details. Please eat first! You can ask Mr. Nicholas about it after breakfast."
Aunt Lucy sighed helplessly. She also hoped that what she heard was just rumors, so that she could see more about Miss Christine.
"Okay." Then Christine took Aunt Lucy's hand and sat down at the table.
Well, judging from the dishes, the sun in the Luo family must be rising in the west today.
"Miss Christine, you'd better eat by yourself. If we eat together, it would be against the rules." Aunt Lucy was pulled to sit down at the table by Christine and quickly stood up again.
"What are you talking about? Since you are here with me, you don't have to pay attention to any rules. If you want, I'll take you as my mother now."
