After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities novel Chapter 925

Chapter 925

She kicked open the door to Brogan Mullins's hospital room with a loud bang. The man had just sat up in bed, looking sleepy and groggy as he asked, "Dr. Sylvia, what's wrong?"

Sylvia scanned the room with an unpleasant expression on her face before asking, "Has a nurse been here recently?"

Brogan Mullins shook his head. "No."

Without another word, Sylvia turned and left the room. She went into several other rooms without seeing the nurse who had been pushing a medicine cart earlier.

Squinting slightly, she quickly headed towards the fifth room when suddenly she saw the nurse walking out of it while calmly pushing her cart towards another patient's room.

Sylvia stopped her abruptly and demanded, "What medication did you give them?"

The nurse raised an eyebrow at her before replying coolly, "Weren't these all prescriptions that you wrote?"

Sylvia pointed to all of the medication on top of the cart which were indeed prescriptions that she had written yesterday; however something still felt off about it.

The nurse was clearly injecting each patient starting from last one down this hallway when suddenly doors from five rooms opened simultaneously as several men rushed out in haste heading for restroom at end of corridor.

With a cold sneer on her face Sylvia said, "You just gave them their injections, but they immediately need to use bathroom? Can you explain that to me?"

Wearing blue medical mask over mouth and nose, the nurse looked straight ahead with emotionless eyes as she replied, "You prescribed these medications, Dr. Sylvia. If anything goes wrong, it would be your responsibility, right? I'm only responsible for administering them."

"Are you sure these are still my prescriptions?" asked Sylvia as she picked up one box of pills and opened it up. "The packaging is identical to what I prescribed but what about inside? These medications need to be tested."

As Sylvia looked at how unchangingly calm this young woman was being throughout their conversation, she furrowed her brow wondering if there was something off about this situation or if maybe it was just herself being paranoid.

If anyone else were caught doing something bad like this, they would have shown some sign of guilt or tried avoiding eye contact, but instead, the young woman remained completely composed.

Sylvia waved her hand in front of young woman's eyes, but there wasn't much reaction from those pupils except for slight movement which made Sylvia wonder if perhaps someone had hypnotized this poor girl.

After realizing what might have happened, Sylvia quickly pulled out phone dialing hospital administrator's number, saying, "We need two hypnotherapists over here right away. There is a nursing assistant who seems like being hypnotized."

The dean was taken aback. "How could something like this happen with our hospital's nurses? Dr. Sylvia, are you sure?"

Sylvia firmly held onto the young nurse's arm and pressed her against the wall to prevent her from escaping. She continued to speak on the phone with the dean, "Her symptoms seem like she's been hypnotized. I don't know much about hypnosis, so it would be better to call a reliable professional hypnotist to come take a look. I'll keep her at the nurse station."

The dean naturally didn't dare delay any further and said, "Okay, okay, please wait a moment."

The young nurse struggled and tried to leave. "What are you doing? Just because you're a doctor doesn't mean I'm afraid of you! Who gave you the right to grab me?" But no matter what she said or did, her expression remained blank.

Hypnotists use language to guide their subjects into an open subconscious state where they can implant ideas that will help them change their behavior habits or solve psychological problems.

Another method is similar to what Mrs. Wright did in which certain memories of the subject being hypnotized are sealed away and forgotten.

It was clear that this young nurse had been subjected to the former method where ideas were implanted into her subconscious.

Sylvia dragged the young nurse over and pushed her onto a chair at the nursing station before taking one of those soft tubes hanging from an IV bag underneath it all and quickly tied up the struggling girl in three moves flat.

Several other nurses around them were startled by this sudden action.

"Dr. Sylvia! What happened?"

"What's going on?"

"She seems like she's been hypnotized," Sylvia didn't have time for explanations as she began searching through pockets until finally finding some lab results tucked inside this particular nurse's cap.

"Isn't this water test results?" The head nurse stared incredulously at their bound colleague before turning back towards Sylvia accusingly. "Madalynn, how could you do something so outrageous as stealing these results?"

Madalynn sat there struggling against her restraints while insisting. "Let me go! I haven't done anything!"

Sylvia narrowed her eyes as she examined those lab results closely. "This is high-dose laxatives mixed with some bacteria - not good bacteria either."

As expected then, those ten pilots had indeed drunk contaminated water.

She went over towards one of those carts nearby before bringing back several bottles filled with pills; even without testing them out first it was obvious these weren't normal medications either.

She felt careless for letting things get out-of-hand again.

Franklin and Jasper each carried several meal boxes as they approached the chaotic scene of nurses and pilots returning from the restroom looking pale. They exchanged a knowing glance, something was definitely wrong.
