Chloe pressed the answer button, and Victoria’s irritated voice immediately came through. “Chloe, where the hell are you? Did you leak Cathy’s story? Come back to Shawn Manor right now. I’ve already told Dad, and you must come back and explain yourself.” 

This made Chloe a bit angry. “Are you kidding me? You know Grandpa’s health is fragile.” 

How could Victoria intentionally bring this up to agitate Admas? 

Victoria was also taken aback. When she saw the video, her immediate thought was that Chloe was behind it. 

She believed that Chloe had long disliked the Shawn family and seized the opportunity for revenge. 

Victoria wanted Admas to see Chloe’s true nature, which was why she told Chloe to return to Shawn Manor. 

However, Chloe’s words made her realize how slow she had been to catch on. 

Hearing the silence on the other end, Chloe sneered inwardly, “I’ll go back. I didn’t do it, and I’m not taking the blame.” 

With that, she hung up, packed her laptop into her bag, and left. 

Sitting in her car, she pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration.

When Chloe arrived, she unexpectedly saw Michael returning from outside as well.

Once inside, the Shawns were already there. 

Cathy sat on the sofa, sobbing uncontrollably. “Grandpa, this is a setup! I was just getting a massage, I swear! I didn’t do anything wrong!” 

Sure, Cathy liked to fool around, but she was always careful not to leave any leverage for others. 

She had no idea who was targeting her this time. 

The noises at the door drew their glances toward Michael and Chloe, their faces a mix of emotions. 

Admas, seated on the sofa, stomped his cane forcefully. “What the hell is going on with the news today?!” 

“Grandpa, those news stories are nonsense. None of them are true.” 

Chloe knew the situation stemmed from her, with many articles discussing her and other men. 

“Grandpa, one of those men is my boss, and the other’s an old friend, a former coworker. There’s nothing going on, I swear.” 

Cathy suddenly scoffed. “Oh, really? If there’s nothing to it, why are the tabloids writing about it? Are they just making it all up? You must have released my videos to distract them!” 

Chloe looked at Cathy, finding it a bit ridiculous. 

“And what about you? The internet is full of rumors about your improper relationships with those male masseurs. Are those true? If you did nothing, why would they write that?” 

“You little…” Cathy, enraged by Chloe’s sharp words, shot to her feet, finger jabbing towards her, ready to curse.
