Chapter 354 Be Your Lover

Chloe suddenly understood the saying that a man remained young until his death.

There were times when James, like Michael, was quite childish.

"I think I did well with that picture. If you can successfully help me divorce Michael, I'll thank you and buy you a nice dinner!"

James' smile immediately froze at this point.

Chloe narrowed her eyes. "Cheer up. You can play it at the entrance to the Shawn Manor, preferably for all of the Shawn family to see!"

After saying that, Chloe turned around and walked away, leaving James stunned in his spot.

He thought, "Why aren't things the way I thought they would be?

Does Chloe want to divorce her husband that badly?

She's still pregnant. Does she want the baby to be born without a father?"

Suddenly, James thought of something. He got up and caught up with Chloe, who was walking out. "How about I make you a deal?"

"That's not a good idea!"

Chloe swatted away the hand he held in front of her and pressed the elevator button.

"If you want a divorce so badly, I can help you!"

Chloe was about to step into the elevator. At that, she paused slightly and looked at James. "What?"

"I can pretend to be your lover! You can even say the baby in your belly is mine."

Chloe said in shock, "Are you crazy?"

She thought, "I want a divorce, but not in such a way that damages my reputation!

It was Michael's previous affair with Lucy that caused our marriage to break up. If I find a lover now, what's the difference between me and Michael?"

James took a step forward and pressed Chloe against the elevator door.

He was so tall that he blocked out all the light in front of Chloe.

"Am I no match for Michael?"

Chloe frowned.

She wanted to say that he and Michael weren't even close to being the same type of person.

There was no comparison between them at all.
