Chapter 395 Chloe's Mom

Chloe felt a chill all over and hesitated to start writing.

"Chloe, this is nothing. I've had it before when I was in the hospital. Don't worry, let's sign it first. Don't delay surgery of your mom."

Candy had to comfort Chloe and calm her down.

After signing, Candy hugged her as they watched the nurse leave. "Let's sit and wait."

There was nothing else they could do but wait for the surgery to end.

Madeline and Maya were both cautious on the other side.

"Well. Since you're here, I'll leave your mom to you. I have things to do at home, so I'll take Maya and return first."

Madeline was about to leave when Chloe's terrifying gaze stopped her, sending a chill down her spine.

"What did you say to my mom?"

"I brought your mom some fruit today. Who knew she was so fragile? Just a few words and she needed emergency care. How is that my fault?"

Madeline was a shrewish woman. Now being cursed by Chloe, she wasn't about to back down.

The two were about to fight when Candy forcefully held Chloe back.

"Chloe, this is a hospital. Your mom is still inside. Don't disturb the doctors!"

Chloe regained some calm but still glared at the two before her. "If anything happens to my mom, I'll make you pay with your lives!"

Maybe her gaze was too terrifying. Even Madeline, who was used to being aggressive, was stunned.

They were in the wrong from the start. Seeing Chloe like this made them feel guilty.
