Olivia was occupied through the day and night, barely sleeping a wink.
As she drove back to Xavier's villa, she felt like she was going to pass out.
Finally, the woman arrived at the villa. She parked her car and went upstairs, and the delicious scent of food wafted into her nostrils.
She immediately walked over to the kitchen, spotting an apron-wearing Xavier, busy working his magic there. He turned to look at her.
Olivia smiled satisfyingly. "You're a feast for the eyes!"
Her gaze didn't linger on the dishes beside Xavier. Instead, she stared at the man with a mischievous smile.
Realizing that Olivia had flirted with him, Xavier grinned at her. "Did you just come out of the slums that you feel like consuming everything you lay your eyes on?"
Olivia glanced at her dirty face and messy clothes, coughing embarrassedly. "Consuming you won't satiate my hunger. I only have eyes for the dishes you cooked."
She immediately realized that she had confessed to the thought in her mind without being pressed.
Xavier didn't make the meaning of his words explicitly clear, and Olivia had gone ahead, saying whatever was on her mind.
She mused, "Oh my! A person's reaction will become slow when they are exhausted. I must take a bath and have a good sleep."
Olivia hurriedly turned to escape from the kitchen, but Xavier wrapped his arms around her from behind.
Olivia was startled and instinctively wanted to struggle.
After all, she was in such a mess that she disliked herself, and she didn't want to get intimate with Xavier at the moment.
But Xavier held onto her tightly, and she was so exhausted that she couldn't free herself.
"Are you sure you won't be full after consuming me?" Xavier leaned close to her ear, whispering. His hoarse voice and the cheeky grin on his face make her heart beat uneasily.
"Did I say the wrong thing?" Olivia thought.
She swallowed her saliva and chose to play dumb. "Mr. Xavier, can I take a shower first?"
Xavier peered at her dirty clothes and smiled. "Okay. You can satiate your hunger after you clean up yourself."
After saying that, he gently let go of her and laughed. "You have to try to know the true feeling of being full."
Olivia didn't know what to say.
What else could she do?
So, in the end, she chose to flee.
After finally returning to the room and taking a comfortable shower, Olivia went downstairs to eat in her pajamas.
Looking at her favorite dish on the table, Olivia picked up her cutlery and started digging in.
Xavier sat aside with a coquettish smile, watching Olivia eating so happily. Occasionally, he would put food on her plate, and sometimes, he would feed the food into her mouth directly.
Olivia opened her mouth naturally, biting the food Xavier gave before she realized something was amiss. She glared at Xavier.
Xavier raised his eyebrows and smiled. "Eat more."
Thump!
Olivia's heart beat restlessly again. She hurriedly turned her face away and buried herself in her food.
At around eight o'clock in the evening, Olivia was done eating. That was when Xavier told her he had arranged a meeting with the Si Family at ten o'clock that night and asked whether she had any objection.
Olivia frowned immediately. "There's no rush. Let's meet at ten o'clock tomorrow morning. I need to sleep now."
Xavier caressed her head lovingly. "Okay. Go rest now."
So, Olivia slept until nine o'clock in the morning the next day, and it was Xavier who rose her from her sleep.
After some dilly-dallying, they arrived at the Si residence at precisely ten o'clock in the morning.
