Xavier had obviously informed Madeline about what Olivia liked to eat, for out of the four dishes she prepared, three were spicy.
Olivia, who hadn't eaten for two days, wolfed down once she dug in.
Even though Xavier's cooking skill was superb, he wasn't into spicy food, and he had no habit of adding spices to the dishes he made. Therefore, although his cuisine was tasty, it was less flavorful and delicious than Madeline's lavish spread, which was more to Olivia's appetite.
Olivia's movements were still elegant and poise even as she gulped a big mouthful of food down her throat. She was not as cautious and pretentious as the ladies from rich families but more carefree.
Madeline couldn't help but smile satisfyingly when she saw the look of contentment on Olivia's face.
Olivia felt alive by the time she was done eating.
"Mrs. Si, does my cooking suit your taste?" Madeline asked cautiously when Olivia put down her chopsticks.
Olivia nodded. "Madeline, you're a great cook! I greatly enjoyed the meal!"
Olivia smiled when she noticed Madeline's happiness while cleaning the table.
It was already three o'clock in the afternoon. Olivia did not go to the Si residence to find Xavier. Instead, she took a taxi to a remote alley.
After getting out of the car, she put on her baseball cap. Then, she zigzagged through the road and into an alley before finally pushing open an inconspicuous iron door and walking in.
Everyone knew that Xuanlan Attic, the largest intelligence organization in the country, was located in the capital city.
But only a few people were aware that Xuanlan Attic was actually in this seemingly inconspicuous corner.
Olivia swiped her card at the entrance and went upstairs directly, bumping into a familiar yet foreign figure.
The other party kept staring at her while Olivia peered at him. She recalled that she had disguised herself before coming over, so she left without acknowledging the other person.
