Susan decided to leave this opportunity to Theodore. She called him, even though she wanted desperately to see Manuel's restrained face while he danced provocatively, but of course, she wanted Little Bunny to be happy more. "Who told you that?"
"Manuel."
"How does he know?"
"My husband knows everything from astronomy to geography. Of course, he knows about a mere mortal like you."
"What do you want to say?" Theodore wanted to mock her casually. But now his mind was full of Little Bunny.
"Do you know what happened with Little Bunny?"
"What happened?" Theodore became nervous immediately.
"Don't you watch the news?"
"I just woke up! How could I have watched it?!"
"That's true," Susan nodded and continued, "Little Bunny had a conflict with Caroline and now everyone on the internet is calling her names and asking her out of the entertainment industry. Now Little Bunny must be feeling terrible. It's time for your hero moment."
"Damn!" Theodore cursed and quickly got up from bed ready to go find Little Bunny with Samson.
"Hey, do you know what to do?" Susan could feel Theodore's impatience rising rapidly once again. When this guy got angry no one could stop him.
"Yes!" Without another word, Theodore hung up the phone abruptly, leaving Susan frowning in confusion. She hadn't even told him what needed doing yet.
Theodore had been by Oscar's side for many years and now he held great power. It wouldn't be a problem for him to take down Caroline. At the thought of it, Susan stopped worrying about Theodore. All she hoped for was that Theodore would genuinely care for Little Bunny.
If he saved Little Bunny this time, perhaps she would feel touched by his efforts and soften up in front of him if Theodore tried more.
Theodore put on his clothes quickly before storming out of the room for Little Bunny. As soon as he opened the door, he saw Caroline. Theodore was hesitant, since he knew exactly how it felt when one encountered an embarrassing situation. They would hide from everyone else until they calmed down themselves instead of seeking comfort from others, just like himself. During his childhood days when he was in training with Oscar and Manuel, if he got the worst grade, he always hid somewhere without being noticed by the other two. He didn't need their comfort.
He nodded slowly in agreement with Caroline's suggestion.
"Which media outlet reported this?"
"Many media outlets are going to report it." Caroline replied anxiously while fumbling with her phone trying to contact her agent for more information about these reports. "Mr Wold, can you ask all news outlets not to publish any news related to Little Bunny? The longer these rumors spread around online, the worse it will be for her."
Theodore agreed immediately without hesitation since he held considerable power over the media industry in Northfield. He called Samson over quickly and instructed him personally that all news regarding Little Bunny should be taken down immediately from every website where they were published earlier today.
Caroline was shocked by how fast everything happened after Theodore gave orders throughhis assistant. Within minutes, all relevant articles disappeared completely from every website. Furthermore, anyone caught writing negative comments about Little Bunny would have their accounts blocked permanently, which made sure that nobody would talk negatively about her on social media platforms anymore.
Caroline couldn't believe how powerful Theodore truly was. She wanted to come over and win Theodore's favor. She thought it would be better for her to do this favor instead of letting Little Bunny ask him, so that she wouldn't be caught playing tricks and could also get closer to Theodore. But she never expected that one sentence from Theodore could actually erase everything.
She never thought that this matter would just pass like that.
At that moment, she started thinking about Theodore again. Winning this man meant she would have power in the industry.
