After changing into pyjamas, Oscar went to bed. Hannah was already in bed. Neither said a word in the dimly lit room, immersed in the endless sorrow of parting. Pursing her lips, Hannah heard Oscar saying firmly, "I will miss you." Her heart was pounding. Oscar was the man who could always take her breath away. She couldn't tell how much she wanted Oscar to stay, which was as much as her desire to leave with him. There was too much helplessness in the adult world.
