Stepping out of the private room, the cold wind hit Aveline, jolting her back to reality. She abruptly pulled her hand away from Lucas, her eyes filled with confusion and disbelief as she looked at him.

"Lucas, what did you mean by what you just said?"

Lucas glanced at his now empty hand, his expression already turning cold. His dark eyes brewed a storm of danger as he looked at the shock and bewilderment on her face. He let out a cold laugh.
