Madeline was forcing Annalise into a corner, and her dignity and grandeur were undeniable.

It was the first time Annalise had matched up to a woman who felt so powerful. A solemn fear slowly took shape in her heart.

This was bad. Her hand started to tremble.

“Whatever you say, we from the Solace family are not pushovers. I have never been threatened in my whole life!”

“Then you should think of this as me helping you to open your eyes. I will consolidate the invoice very soon. As long as you pay the compensation, you can leave anytime you want.” Madeline waved her hand to signal for Albert to start the calculations.

Albert knew what he had to do. He immediately produced a mini scanner and in no time, he was done scanning every item that was damaged in the office.

A supposed compensation form that had a long list on it was generated in just a few minutes.

Annalise finally realized that Madeline was not joking. She was so outraged that she didn’t know what to do with her anger.

It was not that she didn’t have the money to compensate for the damage. If she caved in, that would imply that she had admitted her own wrongdoing.

There was no way she was going to let that happen.

She could not lift a finger because Noah was here. Otherwise, she would just tear Madeline apart here and now.

“The damages occurred because you tried to put the blame on me in the first place. That was what caused my men to get at you guys. Why do I need to compensate you if that’s the case? It’s clear as day you’re trying to extort me!”

Annalise continued her lies and she even scurried to where Noah was. She was tugging at his arm to seek cover.

“Noah, she is really scary. I can understand why you don’t like her. Please save me…”

Noah was enjoying his own wife’s antics which stemmed from jealousy, and he was immediately thrown into a fit of nervousness when he was held by Annalise without warning.

It seemed that his instinct kicked in; He was able to pull out his arm from Annalise’s grip as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

He had enormous strength too. Annalise almost stumbled to the floor when he took his arm away.

“Speak properly! Don’t be too touchy with me! My wife wouldn’t be happy to see this!” Noah’s hand was shuddering as if he was on edge.

He had no qualms to spark some jealousy in his wife, but it was another thing if he was seen mingling around with other women.

He would not even think of that!

He did not dare to do that!

After all, it took him some effort to calm his agitated wife down. If he made things worse which caused her to stomp away in fury, he would definitely regret that!

“Noah, why are you like this? I really don’t want to listen to a word that comes out of this woman’s mouth…” Annalise steadied herself and she resumed her effort to inch closer to Noah with that pitiful look on her face.

Noah did not conceal the fact that his mood had worsened. Just as he was about to give a final warning, his wife finally made her move.

With a loud snap, Annalise’s wrist seemed to flop down as if the strings on it were cut.

Although her wrist was dislocated, Annalise was making a scene since she had never experienced this kind of agony before. Her face turned pale.

“Ahh! My hand! My hand is broken!”

She held her dislocated wrist with her other hand and she was at a loss.

“Since you don’t plan to compensate the association, I will take your broken wrist as being equal to the compensation. We are even now. However, if you dare to touch my man again, I promise I will take down your arm myself. You can try me if you don’t believe me.”

“Albert, call the ambulance for this lady here. As for the others who had caused a ruckus, send them to the police.”
