Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 48

I stood there staring at Sara. I could tell that she was upset but I wasn’t too sure how I felt about the whole thing. I knew that she was the one that set me up, but I haven't told anyone yet that she was the one that did that. I wasn’t sure if my co-workers had told Dean that Sara is the one that gave me the address or not. But that was beside the point.

“What’s your problem?” I asked. So she looked up at me and her tears were real. She wasn’t just making a show of it for people to see.

“I didn’t know when I gave you the address. I swear I didn’t know.” She said.

“Didn’t know what? That you were sending me into a trap?” I asked. And she looked away, knowing that I was fully aware of what she had done. She looked a little worried because I saw Dean standing down the end of the hallway. But I wasn’t too concerned with him right now.

“I didn’t know that my mistake would stop the curse from being lifted.” She said.

“You didn’t know that I was the one that could lift the curse?” I asked.

“No. Of course I didn’t know that.” She said.

I wasn’t sure what to believe with her anymore. I stood there looking down on her and I hope she wasn’t expecting me to feel sorry for her. That was never going to happen.

“Ella. I am so sorry. Please, you have to forgive me. I didn’t know that she was going to try and kill you.” Sara said.

I looked at her face and the way she was now facing me on the ground. She was practically groveling. She was desperate for me to believe her. Either she was telling the truth or she was a really good actor.

I chose to see the good in people.

“It’s fine Sara. I believe you. I believe that you didn’t know what was going to happen to me.” I said.

“She was using me. That’s all. She knew that I hated you and wanted you gone. That’s why she came to me.” Sara said, standing up. She tried to grab my hand but I snatched it back.

“I know that. And as far as I know that witch is dead.” I said.

“That doesn’t mean that there aren’t more to take her place. They work in covens.” She said. And I nodded my head. I knew all of that. And I was prepared for something else to happen to me. But my twins were here now. They weren’t going to let anything happen to me.

I was sure of that.

“You have no idea how sorry I really am. I’ve been resisting you as a sister for so long. I don’t want to do that anymore. I want us to be sisters. I’ll go back and talk to my mother. I’ll tell her to let you come back home.” Sara said.

I looked up and I saw Dean watching us and he could hear everything that we were saying. His expression softened a lot towards Sara.

“Don’t do that Sara. You have been training to be the Alpha of this pack for your whole life. You need to keep working towards that. I think you will make a great female Alpha.” I said.

Sara looked at me with a confusing look on her face, but maybe now she will finally realize that I was never after her pack. I had no intention of trying to take it from her.

The following morning we all got up early and the guys had to get dressed, just before Dean came to see us. They were both sitting on my bed facing me but stood up when Dean walked in.

“You’re looking a lot better this morning.” Dean said.
