Alvera was rooted to the same spot for quite a while.

From the distance, Roland shouted, "Why are you still standing there? Aren't you leaving?"

She stood up and followed him gloomily.

A deep feeling of disgust welled up in her as she stared at Roland from behind.

She could not do it with him. She would not let him do what he wanted.

She blinked, an idea forming in her head. 

They entered the house one after another, where Becky had already prepared dinner. "Ms. Alvera, dinner is ready."

The food for dinner was very light. 

Alvera could not eat heavy foods after the operation.

Roland was not a picky eater, so he ate what she ate.

After dinner, Becky cleaned up the table and left the room quickly by Roland's orders.
