When Nicholas saw this, he became more certain that Tessa was hiding something from him. 

His eyes sank slightly. He knew that Tessa would not tell him no matter what he asked, so he changed his strategy. 

“I don‘t care what happened. You are not feeling well, so let‘s go to the hospital first.” 

After he finished speaking, he strode forward and directly grabbed Tessa by the waist. 

The woman was stunned for a moment before she immediately began struggling. 

“I‘m not going to the hospital.” 

She grabbed the bathroom door with her hands, preventing Nicholas from leaving with her in his 

arms. 

His face sank immediately, and he said a little angrily, “Why don‘t you want to go to the hospital? Is there something wrong with your body? Do you know that you‘re making me very worried?” 

When she heard the man‘s annoyed voice, Tessa felt guilty and apologetic. Her eyes turned red, and tears fell from them drop by drop.

“You may leave first,” he said.

He stood up, took her into his arms, then patted her on the back again and again to reassure her. “It‘s okay. No matter what happens, I‘ll be by your side.”
