An Orphan for a wife novel Chapter 16

EUWARD'S POV

I am here at Uncle Andres' house, Aunt Ashley sent me so I gave in too. We had just finished eating when Gian suddenly arrived. It has a female companion.

"Oh Jace! Long time no see! You've come home to the Philippines!" Gian said to me and we both shook hands.

"Yeah, I'm staying at the mansion. You?" I said and looked at the woman with him. She's pretty and she also a sexy.

"Ah by the way, my girlfriend, Francine. Babe, Jace by the way. Son of Gov, my childhood friend," he introduced. I was surprised when the woman with him smiled.

"Oh! Hi Jace," she held out his hand to me so I reached for it too. I don't know if she meant to squeeze my hand lightly or just by chance.

"Jace ..." I introduced myself and smiled as well.

"Let's go eat?" Gian took care of me.

"Ah thanks, I'm full," I replied to him.

From earlier, Francine still did not take her eyes off me. I was a little taken aback when I caught her looking at me. She is beautiful, smooth and sexy. She also has modesty unlike Meghan who- Why do I compare Francine to Meghan? Francine is much better than her.

"Ah Tito, Tita, I have to go now," I said goodbye to them.

"Eat first Hijo, it will be night again," said Aunt Ashley.

"Ah no, Tita, maybe Dad will be there too. I'll just eat at home. I still have something to fix," I excused myself. I can't take this anymore. I feel awkward, that she watch my move.

"Or is he okay. Will you be careful?" she said, I nodded in response.

I drove home, it was late at night. I also spent a few days with Meghan. Ever since I saw how he and Dad got along so well. I tried to flirt others, but I failed. Whenever they were kissing, I saw Meghan.

"Why are you hurting me like this Meghan?" i ask to my self.

I got home, dad is still gone. I went inside. The living room is quiet. So I went upstairs. After I got dressed, I decided to eat in the kitchen. But before I could eat I heard a crackle. I followed that sound.

In the warehouse? I still folowed the sound when I saw her. It's Meghan. I don't know what she is doing on my Dad office. She trying to open the doorknob with cards?

When she was tired and failed, she walked away from the door when she hit me.

"E-Euward ..." she said in shock when he saw me.

"What are you doing? Why are you trying to open my Dad office huh?" I asked her, but she could not answer. I saw her nervous while staring at me.

She was about to leave when I pulled her back.

"Answer me!" I shouted. I don't know why I shouted her. The warmth of my blood on her since I found out she was Dad’s wife.

"N-nothing—"

"And who are you hiding? I saw you, are you a spy?" her eyes widened even more at what I said. I also do not know but I was suddenly convinced by my imagination. Can't she spy?

"N-no!"

I suddenly overtook her and pushed her away. He fell to the floor.

"WHO COMMANDED YOU TO WATCH MY DAD?! WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING TO DO?!" I shouted at her.

She stood up slowly as she struggled with the pain in hier hip. Suddenly my heart was touched when I saw that she was having a hard time standing up. I pushed her harder.

"I-I'm not doing anything wrong, Euward, I'm not a spy," she said.

"Do you think I will believe what you say? You're just a fucking liar, Meghan! You seduced us to get inside us? Then what? You robbed us? Spy? How pathetic you are Meghan! You're such a whore !" I shouted.

"You don't know me yet, stop judging me."

But my anger changed when she said that. She was not angry, I thought she would be angry with what I said but she was not. She just calmed down as her tears slowly flowed down her cheeks.

"If I could do anything to get out of here, I would have done it. But this is only me. If I'm a selfish, maybe I've already left here. So stop insulting me that you know everything. That you know everything I've been through," she said tearfully.

I was silent, as if I was being stabbed by what I saw. She's crying. And I hate to see her fucking tears down!

"You don't know everything Euward. H-I'm not like you thought." She walked away, she passed me while crying.

What stupid I'm? I'm hurting her! Fuck!

I want to hug her, but my ego's punching me. I want to heal her wounds on her face. I want to feel her lips.

I just washed what happened. She's right. I don't know everything. But why is that? What is true? What does he mean he can't get away with it?

"Sir? You just came home, won't you eat-"

"I have to go," I said and went out. I got in the car before driving.

"Stupid!" I shouted and kicked my car again.

"Where's my Dad?" I asked Jani when I got inside.

"Gov. is busy, he can't go home," he said.

I hurried inside. I want to hug her! I want to apologize to her. I want to get her from Dad. Fucking that man! I hurt the woman I love because of his stupidity!

I would have knocked when I saw the door beetle. I opened it and entered on their room.

She is not in bed. I heard the shower turn off in the bathroom. Just a few minutes later I heard the door open. I slowly approached. And I saw her, she was in a bathrobe while looking for something to wear. I was a little hurt by what I saw, why did she take a bath? Is it because Dad is coming? And will they do that again? But instead of getting angry, I felt sorry for her.

"Ahhhh! E-Euward?" she would have shouted when she saw me.

"What are you doing here?" she asked. I don’t know how she feels. Because I see no emotion in her.

"I know everything ..."

"You do not."

"Yes I do, I'm sorry," I was about to approach her as she walked away. Fuck! After I hurt her then did I have the strength to approach her?

"You can leave now."

"Meghan, I'm so sorry please. F-forgive me-"

"Please," she said in a hard tone.

I want to hug her! I miss her so damn much!

"Stupid Euward! Stupid!" I shouted as I entered my room. I want to support myself. But fuck!

"STUPID ASSHOLE!" I broke everything I could and threw it away. I wiped my face,

"ARGHHHHH!"

I need to bring back her. I will take her back! I will take her back to Daddy!

"Promise, I'll take you back I love you."
