An Orphan for a wife novel Chapter 25

MEGHAN's POV

Months Passed ...

I quietly felt the cold breeze. Here I am again, I feel alone again.

From the day Jace came here, and he found out everything, he never showed up for me. How many times have I carved Jeremy? But I will not give up, I will tickle him until he tells me where Jace really is.

My stomach is also a bit big, it's only been two months but it's bulging. Satisfied, I got dressed. I will go to them Sapphire. I wore a loose tshirt and I wore leggings. I have learned to wear this.

I thought that when I got used to wearing this, Lucas would stop me. But no, even though I was pregnant, she still did not stop me. He got worse.

"Hey girl! Gawk you there again!"

I came back to reality. Sapphire frowned at me.

"Don't tell me, are you thinking about him again?" she asked in astonishment. I did not answer. Because it is true. He is on my mind.

"Hey! I'm the one who's bothering you girl!" she said.

She called someone on his phone. After a while, someone suddenly rang the doorbell. I saw Jeremy surprised to see me.,

"Meg ..."

"Jem, please tell me where Jace really is," I begged him.

"Meg, I'm really sorry. I promised to Jace," he said with a bow.

"Please? I just want to talk to him. He has a lot to know," I said tearfully.

"My puppy! Tell Meghan or broke up with me?!" said Sapphire.

"Kitty is not really possible, don't you also promise each other?" said Jem.

"It's important Puppy, so tell Meg oh, she's miserable," Sapphire told her.

"If it's possible, I'll accompany you. But I'm not in a position to say that Meg, I'm really sorry."

"Which one? What is Jace hiding?" Sapphire couldn't stand it anymore and she asked.

"Tell me, what is Jace hiding and you can't say?"

Sapp and I both looked at him. I can see that his expression has fallen. So is Jace hiding something?

"Tell me please," I told him.

"Hey, don't make a pregnant woman cry!" Sapp insisted.

I will still force him to say what he knows. I need to know what Jace is hiding. I need to know what he really fears.

"He's coming back, coming soon," was all she said and smiled.

"He was just thinking, let him go first," he said.

No, asussual, he never said again. I know he knows where Jace is.

Why does he not want to say more? I just asked that question for a few months. I will explain, I'm ready to tell him everything.

For now, I just hope maybe he will come back. And when he returned, we were all right. He is no longer angry with me. That we can carry out our plan, only time is really needed.

He has not disappeared from my mind, there is still room in my heart that no one can replace. So I still hope, that he will come back to me. That we will get back together.

But I also remember what the woman said before, that they had a relationship with Jace-

I stopped walking when I realized something. Not so, so Jem doesn't want to say because of her?

Who is that woman? Who is she and Jace did that thing to me? I don't even know her name so I can't tell Sapphire either because I don't know that woman. Or is he just ruining the relationship? Lucas may have just ordered her to destroy us so that I could return to her.

I couldn't help but be scared, I was afraid that that woman might succeed to attracting Jace.

So much has entered my mind that it is possible to happen, but I need to be strong. For my son, for our son, Jace.

For sure he will be happy if I say this is our son and not Lucas.

I did not realize that I was already at home. It's night again, I know what will happen again, nothing new. Ever since he took me and he found out I was pregnant that's how I used to be.

"Hija, let's eat ..." Manang said. I ate, even though I didn't want to. I do not want my baby to be affected by my life. He still needs to be healthy.

"Man, Gov? Is he already there?" I will ask. I'm not excited, I just want to know if the demon is there.

"Ah he doesn't have Hija yet ..." he said shyly.

Even though they wanted to help me, they could do nothing. Because their family is surely that Lucas will return.
