An Orphan for a wife novel Chapter 28

MEGHAN's POV

Days passed.

I was about to go down when I heard them talking, they were talking about the wedding that will be held two days from now.

Their marriage continued. I don't know but despite what happened, I hope Jace will choose me. He will choose me and not Cyanelle.

"Oh honey, you're awake!" Lucad stood up to greet me with a kiss. I avoided but he insisted and still kissed me on the lips.

It was not noticed that Cyanelle was here. She was next to Jace as she caressed in front of the food.

"Ah Dad, Attorney Villar told me that everything is okay," Jace happily said to Lucas.

"Good to know, tomorrow morning, we will also prepare something to wear for your wedding day," Lucas said smiling before looking at me.

I kept quiet while just eating. I hastened my meal, because my tears were about to drip.

"Ahm excuse me," I said after drinking water. They looked at me. I did not look back at them and continued to climb into the room.

I couldn't stop and my tears flowed, I tried to wash again so that it would not be obvious that I was crying.

It still hurts, it hurts to see him. I just got dressed. Sapphire invites me to roam. Since I'm bored here too, I also seem to forget for a few hours.

When I got down, Luke was gone. They left Jace in the living room while sheltering.

"Babe!" said Cyanelle as Jace leaned over her and held her two hands. Jace forced a kiss on Cyanelle's neck.

To avoid, I went straight to the door and went out. When I came out, I saw Sapphire outside. Carrying his car.

"Hey girl! Let's go!" she shouted while inside the car. I went out. Fortunately, Gov.

"That's us bes eh, we are here for you to enjoy and avoid stress. Then you will think about Jace all day?" Sapphire frowned.

"I-I don't think about him. Maybe I'm just tired," I said avoiding him.

"Tired? Where are you tired? Thought? Eh we've been sitting here for a while," he said while crossing arms in front of me.

She sat down before taking a deep breath, I remained silent.

"Girl, you need to move forward. Obviously Jace told you, didn't he? He play your feelings. Even though he's my cousin, I hate him for what he did to you."

"I-I love him. You know that, don't you? I love him-"

"But bes! Awake! Cyan and him are getting married! You have no space in his heart or you have never been a part! Just accept that,"

I bowed, she's right. Jace doesn't love me, but we have a child.

"H-how? How is our child? How is my baby?" I said to her while looking into her eyes.

She could not answer. Jace does not believe that this is our son. But will I just let us lose her Daddy?

I calmed down again, we also remained silent for a few hours. I decided to go home.

I heard Sapphire fighting with Jeremy and Jace. Because of me. Their friendship was broken. Because Jace immediately decides to get married while not finding out the truth.

It's four o'clock too. I was about to enter the house when I saw a car outside. This is not for Jace. Especially not with Gov.

When I entered, no one was there, so I decided to go upstairs and get dressed first. I stayed a few minutes in the bedroom before I went down. And as I went down, I saw a beautiful woman who was older than me.

"Oh," she greeted with a smile. I looked at her while wondering.

"W-who are you?" I asked her. I was surprised when she laughed. Does she have a brain defect?

"You don't know me? Wow!" She approached me and looked into my eyes.

Who is she? Why doesn't she just direct me? Lots of twists and turns.

Her words went to my stomach. Before smiling sweetly.

"You're pregnant. Just wow! Too speed, is it delicious?" she says. I could feel the tones of her speech. That makes sense.

I did not speak. I was just looking at her.

"Is it nice to scratch a married man's wife?"
