An Orphan for a wife novel Chapter 40

I woke up to the voice echoing around. I could feel the coldness of my hand. I was immediately greeted by the warm palm of the person next to me. I woke up and his smile opened up on me.

"We're here," he said with a smile.

I just smiled in response to him. We arranged some things before we went down. I inhaled the breeze that touched my face.

It has also been a few years since I left this country. I put on my shades because of the light hitting my eyes.

Soon someone was supporting me. I just smiled at him. He is really very gentleman. During the two years he was with me, I saw that he was serious about me. But there is still something missing that I cannot explain.

"OMG! GIRL! WAAAAH!"

It was only then that I heard Sapphire's yelling in the distance. She was already shouting so the people around her looked at her.

Two years ago and is she still like that? I just shook my head and smiled.

I got to where they were. She was with Jeremy who was even more handsome.

"Oh? Where's Francine?" I asked her.

"According to the actor, she just doesn't want to be in the car," Sapphire said.

"Looks like you're close ah? Maybe you'll trade me for that?" I joked with him.

"Duh! She's so very stagy! Don't do anything else!" she said and stared ate me.

I turned around, I almost forgot Xymon.

"Oh, you have a roommate? You don't even say it's embarrassing!" she whispered once quietly.

"Yep, he's Xymon. Bee is Sapphire my bestfriend, and Jeremy her -"

"My driver," Sapphire said smiling.

"Hey! You thick my handsome driver!" Jeremy yelled at her. Xymon just laughed.

They shook hands. But I saw Sapphire's eyebrows still raised.

"Stop me Angel from raising your eyebrows. He's my friend," I said and walked with Xymon.

"Friend? Uhmm Okay!" she smiled and walked away.

"I thought you were in relationship," she said so we stopped.

"You must be patient with her, she just lacks sleep."

"Ca va," he replied smiling

("It's okay,")

After we rested, I decided to take a walk with Xymon. I didn't know that he understood Tagalog! Syet! He studied so that we could better understand each other because I had a hard time speaking French.

I did not expect him to study for me so he can use that too.

He's my friend. No one is interfering with us. He has been support me since I came to France.

I stopped at the park. Everyone flashbacked to me.

I just smiled when I remembered that. Gone, just that memory.

"Are you okay?" Xymon asked, so I just smiled.

"Yah. I just remembered something," I said and smiled.

He held my hand.

"I'm here, you're sad or happy,," I laughed at him because he turned to Tagalog but he was proud because he knew.

I also got used to it that whenever I was sad, he would hold my hand. I already told him everything. So he knew everything I went through.

I just smiled at him and thanked to him. We walked here in the park while watching the kids play.

"Ill be back," he said smiling and left. I was left stunned. Where is he going?

I have not yet taken a step when I collide. I have not seen him yet but my heartbeat suddenly quickened when I smelled his perfume.

He looked at me with wide eyes. Like me, he was stunned as well. We stared at each other for a few minutes. It was as if time had stopped.

I'm happy. But it also suddenly brought back sadness and pain. To this day, I am still in pain.

"H-hale?" Jace said incredulously.
