An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 1560

After all that, it seemed like Dustin was a monster. He was as swift as lightning, tough as a rock, indifferent to bullet, and merciless—this guy was a demon!

"Where's Scott Mosey?" Covered in blood, Dustin glared at the muscle-bound man, his gaze icy.

"Spare me! We are just following orders. We have no grudge against you, just—" Suddenly, the muscular man quickly whipped out a grenade and chucked it straight at Dustin.

His timing was spot-on; the grenade would practically explode in an instant.

The muscular man believed that no matter how tough Dustin was, there was no way Dustin could withstand the impact of the explosion.

Victory seemed to be in the muscular man's grasp. He was convinced he had executed the perfect sneak attack, celebrating silently.

However, Dustin intervened, snatching the grenade mid-air. In the next instant, a muted "bang" echoed as the hand grenade exploded instantly. But the expected bloodbath didn't happen.

In Dustin's hands, the grenade seemed as harmless as a fart. Its terrifying explosion was forcefully contained.

Smoke wafted between Dustin's fingers, carrying the scent of gunpowder. His casual handling made it seem like he was crushing a simple chicken egg, not a grenade.

"H-How is this possible?" The muscular man was dumbfounded, eyes wide, face full of disbelief.

For him to snatch a grenade barehanded and emerge unscathed—was this guy even human?

"Have mercy! Spare me!" Panic-stricken, the muscular man dropped to his knees, begging for his life. Resistance was futile against this monster; all he could do was plead for his life.

"Where's Scott Mosey?" Dustin's voice remained cold.

"I don't know ... I don't know anything! I just follow orders. Please spare my miserable life!" The muscular man wailed.

"You don't know? Then die." Without further ado, Dustin raised his hand and whacked the muscular man's head with a resounding "thud."

The body shuddered, and his head exploded like a watermelon hit by a bat.
