An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 1641

“Up for the challenge to reach the end? Go ahead, take a spin,” Dustin remarked, his face impassive and his gaze indifferent.

“Hmph! Foolish thing that doesn’t know its place, I’ll teach you the might of the Nexus Dominator Fist today!” Brock snorted, poised to strike, when another voice interrupted.

“Hold on!”

Within the Stormfire Order, Silver Sage, in elegant attire, exuding an otherworldly presence, took a couple of steps forward and announced, “Master Brock, your strength is commendable, but you’re not Logan’s match. This situation is more complex than it appears. Allow me to handle it for you.”

The mission to defeat Logan was a confidential order from the Dragon Guard, and the one who achieved the first victory would receive significant rewards. Such opportunities were not to be missed.

“Master Elias, your words sound like you’re underestimating me,” Brock furrowed his brow, displeased. “The Nexus Gate has its reputation, and if I can’t handle this kid, I might as well shut our doors!”

“True! Even though the Stormfire Order is formidable, we, the Nexus Gate, aren’t pushovers!” the disciples of Nexus Gate shouted in agreement.

“Master Brock, I’m looking out for your well-being,” Silver Sage calmly stated. “If you lose to Logan today, not only will your reputation crumble, but your life will be in peril.”

“Thanks for your concern, Master Elias. If I lose, it’s because of my lack of skill, and I’ll accept the consequences,” Brock said coldly.

“Easy there, you two, no need to get all worked up.” A lively, alluring woman strolled out from the Skyshadow Sect, flashing a friendly smile. “We’re all on the same team here. Let’s not let a little squabble ruin the mood. How about I take the lead and test Logan’s mettle?”

Seeing a chance for some well- deserved credit, being the leader of the Skyshadow Sect, she wasn’t willing to let it slip away.

“Seems like everyone’s hungry for a piece of the action.” Silver Sage surveyed the scene with a casual air. ” But, with such a small feast and so many hungry guests, someone might leave with an empty stomach.”

“Given the ladies first’ rule, I reckon the honor of starting this showdown should be mine,” Brock insisted, showing no sign of backing down.

“Enough with the bickering. The three of you can come at me together,” Dustin interjected, his patience wearing thin.

Before any real confrontation, they were already squabbling over credit. Did they see Dustin as a defenseless target waiting to be carved up?

“Arrogant!”

“Outrageous!”

“Impudent!”

Dustin’s words elicited furious responses from representatives of different sects. Each of their leaders was a formidable presence in their regard. When had they ever been treated with such disrespect? It was nothing short of a clear humiliation!

“Insolent brat, if you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish!” Brock no longer wasted any words. He lunged forward, propelled with incredible speed, heading straight for Dustin.

“Thinking of hogging all the glory? You must be dreaming!” Silver Sage refused to be outdone. With a single step, he transformed into a blur, electric sparks crackling between his palms-a terrifying sight to behold.

“And you two cunning foxes, don’t think you can leave me behind,” the woman from the Skyshadow Sect sneered, waving her hand-a barrage of concealed weapons shot forth from her sleeves, aiming directly at Dustin’s vital points.
