An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 1730

“What did you say?” Grace was taken aback, thinking she had heard Dustin wrong.

“Honestly, I think you’d be great as Queen, and the King probably agrees. That is why, if you’re interested, I’ll represent the West Lucozian monarchy and back you fully,” Dustin said with a smile.

“Logan, stop joking! It’s not funny.” Grace’s tone grew serious. “I’m just a woman. I’m not qualified to sit on the throne. The monarchy would never accept me.”

“So what if you’re a woman?” Dustin asked. He continued seriously, “Who said women weren’t allowed to ascend to the throne? Queen Mary I is an example.

“Even though you’re a little younger than when she became queen, you still have space to grow. As long as you’re willing to work hard, I don’t see a problem.”

“Logan, I appreciate your trust in me, but the thought never crossed my mind. So, please abandon that idea,” Grace refused firmly.

Throughout history, there have only been a handful of queens. And even then, everything aligned perfectly for them to have that glimmer of hope.

Grace didn’t think she was comparable to those legendary queens. Most importantly, once she decided to fight for the throne, it would undoubtedly shock the world.

If that day came, it would lead to another storm of bloodshed and chaos. This was not something she was willing to witness.

“If you don’t want to, then just forget about it. I just brought it up casually. However, if you ever change your mind, just let me know anytime,” Dustin said with a faint smile.

As Valon had said, Grace was actually the most fitting candidate among the royal heirs to ascend to the throne.

Unfortunately, she was a woman, and her path to power would be fraught with difficulties. It wouldn’t be only her brothers-the entire monarchy would never accept this outcome.

Of course, it still depended on Grace. If she had the ambition, Dustin would support her wholeheartedly. If she didn’t, then she should just consider it a playful remark.
