An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 2051

Seeing Miles sprang into action, two burly men jumped out from behind the bearded-burly man.

They brandished their machetes, which carried a distinct scent of blood and an intangible air, a result of years of bloodshed.

They called this practice "nurturing the weapon" in the martial world. Sadly, the machetes wielded by these burly men were still in their early stages, lacking the commanding presence.

Miles took the lead with his sword, facing off against the two burly men. Their machete swings were forceful but lacked finesse, appearing somewhat clumsy.

In contrast, Miles displayed a refined skill set, clearly benefiting from mentorship and substantial practical experience.

His speed, strength, and technique proficiency showcased a comprehensive and advanced development.

In the three-way clash, it was evident that Miles outclassed the two burly men.

With just ten moves, Miles defeated them, leaving them sprawled on the ground. Miles also punished them by stabbing each of their legs.

"Hmph! Do you believe you can be tough with such strength? That's thinking too highly of yourself!" Miles sneered and roared with a commanding voice, pointing his sword at the beaten, burly men. "Leave now, or don't whine when I don't hold back with my sword!"

"Great job! Excellent!"

Cheers erupted from the onlookers as Miles triumphed. Even though they didn't have the guts to step in, clapping to express encouragement was easy for them.

"You, punk! I'm surprised you've got moves. No wonder you dare to mess with us!" The bearded-burly man squinted, casually taking out his machete.

He threatened, "You made a mistake today for messing with us. When you cross paths with the Butcher Guild, there's only one way out—a dead end!"

"The Butcher Guild? I've never heard of them!" Miles responded with a touch of arrogance.

Miles felt a numbness in his wrist as the sword, blocked over his head, was forcefully rebounded and pressed heavily onto his shoulder.

"Kneel before me!" The bearded-burly man roared.

He increased the pressure on Miles' sword. The strength behind the machete continuously battered Miles.

With a heavy thud, Miles couldn't withstand the pressure. His knees buckled, and he kneeled on the ground.

The overwhelming strength of the bearded-burly man kept Miles pressed down, making it impossible for Miles to stand tall.

This unexpected turn of events left the onlookers tense and anxious. Nobody expected Miles, who seemed unbeatable moments ago, would be subdued by the bearded-burly man in such a short time.
