AUTHORS POV

It was early in the morning, almost sunrise time. The sky was light blue indicating that sun will show up anytime. Chilly wind was roaming like a king in the forest and everything was dangerously calm... But not for her...

Anamika was running into the forest barefoot and that too in her torn silk nightgown which ended up by her mid thigh and this chilly wind was adding to her misery. Her feet was covered in blood, thousands of thorns and stones were pricking in her delicate feet making it difficult for her to run. It was hard for her to run as she hasn't even ate proper food since she can remember, she was not strong enough to make a run for herself.

She was panting heavily but she didn't had time to stop and catch her breath. The small branches of the trees were slapping her face while running for her life covered in her own blood, sweat and dirt and tears of fear were constantly falling from her eyes Still she didn't stop. she knew if she stopped then it's over, she will face hell.

But to her bad luck she tripped and her ankle bent in an awkward position. She fell on the ground with a loud thud and her face hit hard on the ground making her already bruised face more bruised. She had been running the whole night and darkness was dancing in front of her eyes with exhaustion, she tried to get up making her mouth leave a painfull whimper but failed miserably.

"Hahahaha... Look brother, our kitten finally got tired..."

As soon as she heard that voice, her heart clenched in fear. She started shaking visibly and sobs left from her bruised lips.

She tried to stand again but she might have broken her ankle. It was swollen and was hurting like hell.

A nineteen year old Anamika sat there, crying on her miserable life.

While three large figures appeared in front her but she didn't dare to look at them, she would have fainted in fear.

"Are you hurt kitten, tch, tch, tch... Look brother she broke her ankle... Bad girl, you know only we have that right. only we can break your bones... See, now you add this to your punishments..."

She heard a second mocking voice and started shaking like a leaf.

One hard smack landed on her jaw with a bone cracking voice making her head hit the ground and it started bleeding, they have broken her jaw.

"You bitch, how dare you step out of our house... How dare you break the rules, I think we are going too easy on her brothers, she needs a good lesson..."

The third voice spoke and her little heart almost stopped beating.

One rough hand gently caressed her uninjured ankle and her eyes widened in fear and loud sobs started escaping her mouth, she started struggling, she knew what they are upto.

"N___no p___p__please, I a___am s___sorry..."

It was hard and very painful for her to talk with the broken jaw. She started shaking her head rapidly, hiccuping while sweat covered her face mixed with blood.

Two hands grabbed her another ankle and twisted it with a bone cracking voice.

"Aaaaahhhhhhh....."

Anamika woke up from her deep slumber with a jolt. She was covered in sweat and her chest was rising up and down rapidly due to her heavy breathing, she gulped and licked her dry lips.

"It was a nightmare, just a nightmare... It's ok, you are fine..."

She rubbed her heart gently and consoled herself.

She took in her surroundings and her eyebrows scrunched in confusion. She was in an unfamiliar room lying on soft bed. She looked out of the barrel window and it was afternoon as sun was on it's peak and she could only see big trees and forest till her vision went.

She tried to stand up but her head started spinning and she moaned in pain. It was then when last nights events flashed in front of her eyes. Someone had hit her head and she blacked out.

Goosebumps of fear started crawling on her skin. She looked at herself and she was in different clothes, not in red gown anymore. She was now wearing a simple white colour sundress.

She was confused... When she heard the click of door lock her eyes widened at the person who came in.

"Raajveer ?...."

She said merely a whisper.

"You're finally awake. thank god, I was getting worried you know, I thought I hit you really hard..."

He sat near her on the bed and tried to touch her head but she pushed him back with a disgusting face.
