Anton Brotherhood novel Chapter 33

Carl was excited and then gave another grenade to Albert. Carl ran first to the third floor with a machete and a gun held by each hand. And the other brother of the Dragon Regime followed up. James's followers were overwhelmed by an unexpected grenade. When they awoke a little, Carl and others had come in front of them. At that time, James's followers fared to fight again and ran away confusedly. James looked at these flustered followers, speechlessly. He sat on the ground and froze.

Carl came to James and kicked off his gun. Carl pressed against James’ head and said, “James, you lost.” James suddenly looked up and asked, “Who are you? Tell me before you die.”

Carl nodded and took out a long black card from his pocket. The word ‘kill’ in the middle of the card was eye-catching.

Staring at the card, James shouted, “Black Card! You are Anton Brotherhood.” Carl nodded. Then James closed his eyes, looking like a desperate person. Carl pulled the trigger slowly.

At that point, James suddenly held a small dagger in his hand which dropped from his wrist. James threw the dagger toward Carl’s throat as Carl was pulled the trigger.

Carl thought James had given up resistance and didn’t expect he could fight back. Carl leaned instinctively. The dagger went through on his neck. Carl touched his neck, and then his hand was covered with blood. A two-inch cut could be seen on his neck.

James ran away downstairs when Carl escaped from the dagger. The brother of Dragon Regime was chasing James's followers, so they didn’t know what’s going on. James scurried through the crowd to the second floor. Albert blocked his way with a knife. “Get away!” James howled angrily.

Albert smiled and said, “James, you won’t leave alive today.” Then, Albert hacked James with the knife. James dodged and was trying to run away. However, Albert would not let him succeed. Albert’s knife descended toward James, with a roaring sound. James fell down and rolled on the ground. When James was going to get up, a black card fell over his head.

The black hole of the gun was exposed before James’ eyes, as the card fell down slowly before his eyes. The person holding a gun was the man that James couldn’t kill with a dagger. It seemed he had three eyes. However, James never got a chance to think about who the man was again. Carl pulled the trigger without hesitation. “Bang!” As a sound of the shot. James fell down straightly on the ground and there’s a bloody hole between his eyebrows. The black card was beside his feet.”

Albert looked at James and then turned to Carl. When Albert saw Carl’s wound on the neck, he hastily said, “Are you OK?”

Carl shook his head, and covered his wound with a handkerchief, sighing, “James was somebody.” Albert smiled and nodded.

Carl and Albert cleaned up the battlefield quickly, asked some people to carry the wounded brothers, and then went out of the North Hotel. Carl came to Anton's car in front of the gate. He opened the car door and whispered, “Boss Williams, the action was over.”

Anton nodded and smiled. He picked up his cellphone to call Mr. Gilbert, “Hello. This is Anton speaking. Are you Mr. Gilbert? I have finished my business, you can dispatch someone here.”

“Ouch! You finally finish it. The call center has been ringing off the hook. The branch is on the way. Leave here secretly. Hurry up.” Mr. Gilbert said.

“Well! I see. I have transferred 200,000 to your account this morning Have you received it? “Anton responded. “Oh, I have received it. You're so kind, dude!” Mr. Gilbert said. “Well, I gotta go. Bye.” Anton said. “Okay, bye!” Mr. Gilbert said.

Anton hanged up the phone, and then asked the driver to drive to Ghost nightclub after Carl and Albert all got in the car. Others took the wounded brothers to the hospital. To avoid suspicion, they made an excuse casually that they met Mafia battle and they were accidentally injured because they were too slow to dodge.

When Anton arrived at Ghost nightclub, he found most of the brothers of Anton Brotherhood gathered here. The main leaders had completed their assignments and came back early to wait for Anton. While they were worried about Anton. Anton came back with Carl. They asked, “Boss Williams, How's it going?”

Anton looked at the crowd, licked his lips, and said loudly, “James' territory become ours from now on.”

The brothers were silent for a moment after hearing the words. Jasper screamed and hugged Anton, shouting, “Boss Williams! Hooray! Anton Brotherhood! Hooray!” Others screamed as well. The nightclub was really kicking at once. They had no words to fully express their joy. The family defeated the strong enemy again, and it finally stepped into the downtown. In other words, they could leave this small and poor place in the south of J City.

Tonight will be a sleepless night for Anton Brotherhood, while the most painful night for the Tiger Gang. One was happy and the other was sad. Five of the Tiger Gang’s sites were attacked by the Youth Gang suddenly and Tiger Gang suffered heavy losses. Then Tiger Gang received the news that James was killed. It meant that it lost the only ally in J City. Valerian Smith, the boss of Tiger Gang in J City, was furious and scolded his followers. He bore grudges the Youth Gang in his mind.

Tonight, the police of J City worked late at night. The city was under martial law. All motor vehicles driven in and out of the city must be checked. The Youth Gang quit while it’s ahead, so it withdrew all personnel. The Tiger Gang wanted to chase, but it had to stop since the police could be seen everywhere in the city.

James and his family, eight nightclubs were attacked by Anton Brotherhood respectively overnight James. One force of the Axe Gang remnants disappeared forever in the Mafia as James died. The other four forces except for Joseph, were all startled by this rapid attack of the Anton Brotherhood they were in panic.

The next day, Anton Brotherhood formally took over the territory of James. Anton Brotherhood had eight more nightclubs, including the underground casino (the North Hotel) in a short time. Anton did not dismiss the former staff in casinos. He allowed them to stay to keep the casino's business going. He also announced that anyone who wanted to stay would be paid more 30 percent. The staff had been making a living at it. They were happy and continued to work here because they could get more pay though the boss was changed. So the casino continued to open.

In this battle, there were more than 20 casualties in Anton Brotherhood. Three of them died. Anton gave half a million to reassure the families of the dead. Also, the injured were compensated. Anton Brotherhood spent five days reorganizing the new nightclubs.
