Anton Brotherhood novel Chapter 35

After a while, the two men calmed down and sat side by side on the bed. Stephan asked, “Bro, now that you've had a foundation in the south of the city, what's your next step?”

Anton said honestly, “I want the whole south of the city!”

Stephan was stunned for a moment. Then he laughed and punched Anton on the shoulder. He said, “Bro, you have quite an appetite! Except for Galvin and Joseph, the others in the south of the city are nothing. Joseph is the one I secretly support. He is a nice man. I hope you will spare him!”

Anton scratched his head and said with embarrassment, “I did mean to annex him at first. Since you've said so, I'm fine with it. It's just that Galvin is a little difficult to handle. After all, he has the support of the Brotherhood. I can't deal with him now.”

Stephan thought about it and said, “Have you ever thought about getting rid of the Brotherhood before you deal with him?”

Anton's eyes turned bright. He looked down and thought for a moment. Then he laughed and said, “Stephan, my bro, you're right. Most families have joined our alliance except the Brotherhood, so all the other families are now dissatisfied with them. If we fight with the Brotherhood, and even if the other families in J City are not on our side, they won't help the Brotherhood. Bro, you must have seen this!”

Stephan laughed and said, “Bro, you are so smart that you've figured it out with a hint. I think you should knock out the Taylors and the Davis family in the south of the city, then deal with the Brotherhood. I'll help you. All right, bro, we should go out and divide the 'pie.' Ha!” With that, Anton and Stephan stood up and went out of the cubicle, feeling relaxed.

There were 30 venues in the territory of Tiger Gang. Youth Gang got five. The Anton Brotherhood got three, and the other venues were equally divided by the other families. As there were a limited number of venues, some families shared one venue with another one or two families. Although they were not happy, they were satisfied. After all, they did nothing, while the main forces knocking down Tiger Gang were Youth Gang and the Anton Brotherhood.

After the party, Anton had complex feelings towards his three venues. The venues were conveniently located in the center of the city, and they were of large size. It was just that they were not next to his current territory. He was afraid that sometimes he couldn't keep an eye on them. After everyone else left, Stephan asked Anton with a smile, “Bro, you look unhappy! Dissatisfied with the venues?”

Anton shook his head and said, “All the three are good. They're just a little far from my territory!”

“That's not a problem. It's a good place if you can make money with it!” “Yes, Bro, I know this!”

Stephan said, “Bro. Visit us sometime. These days Camille has been missing you. She said that she can't see you in school all day long! Haha!”

Anton thought the same. It had been a few days since he last saw that girl, so he really missed her. He said, “Bro, you know my situation these few days. I've been too busy. Now that I can relax for a while, I can go and visit Camille!”

Stephan nodded. He was going to ask Anton something, but he didn't in the end. Anton did not see Stephan's expression. After a few more casual words, Anton took his leave.

The next day, Anton gathered his best men for a small meeting. After a night of thinking, Anton decided to let Carl take charge of the three new venues. Now, be it planning or improvising in the face of enemies, Carl had proved to be capable and reliable. At the same time, Anton told everyone the next step—getting rid of Hanna and Issac.

The others had no objection about getting rid of these two people because they were far from the Anton Brotherhood's match. Bruce proposed warning these two ahead to show the Anton Brotherhood's demeanor. However, after several expansions and fights, Anton knew the power of blitzkrieg assaults. In the past, the Anton Brotherhood always attacked the enemies when they were off guard and defeated them with one stroke. In this way, they could minimize their own losses. This time, Anton decided to adopt the same strategy against the two people. He ordered Carl, Bruce, and Hamlin to lead their regimes to attack Hanna. Jasper, Patrick, and Albert would lead their regimes to attack Issac. And Jason would lead The Ghost Regime to gather information while assisting each attack. They would carry out sneak attacks and must defeat the enemies at one stroke without giving them a break. Anton gave everyone a day off, and they would start to do something during the day tomorrow.

Issac and Hanna would never think that the teenager who talked and laughed with them at the party last night would attack them so quickly.

As Tiger Gang was wiped out, the Mafia in J City went quiet and all families relaxed. But beneath the calm surface, another horrendous wave was coming. With the seemingly never-ending expansion of the Anton Brotherhood, a new Mafia landscape gradually came into being.

The next day was Sunday. Anton called Stephan's home, and the phone was answered by Camille. “Oh, Camille, it's you. How about my going to your house later?” “Anton? My brother is not home. Why are you coming to my house?”

It seemed that the girl was angry. Anton said with a smile, “We haven't seen each other for days, so I want to see you!” “See me? I'm so flattered. I think it's better to forget it. Come when my brother gets home!” Camille hung up. She took the pillow on the sofa and slammed it onto the ground, then stood up and stepped on it. “Damn you, Anton! Damn it! You bastard! I'll kill you!”

The voice was so loud that Anton heard it clearly. He was standing at the door of Camille's house and holding the phone. 'Oh, my God!' Anton hesitated for a long time before finally making up his mind. He gritted his teeth and reached for the doorbell, silently praying for good luck today.

“Who is it?” Camille's impatient voice came from inside the door.

Anton exhaled and said aloud, “Camille, it's me!”

There were loud sounds inside the door. After a while, the door opened. Camille stood at the door with her hands on her shoulders. She pursed her lips and said, “Come in!”

Anton forced a smile at Camille, coughed, and went into the room. Standing in the living room, Anton saw the TV on. He tried to have a conversation, “Camille, what show are you watching….” Camille shut the door, making a loud noise to interrupt Anton's words.

“What would you like to drink?” Camille asked as she sat on the sofa and watched the TV.

Anton sat next to her. Seeing that Camille was still angry, he said, “I am very busy these days, and also very tired. I haven't seen you for a few days, and I really miss you. Today I finally have some time, but you're behaving this way….” With that, Anton closed his eyes and leaned against the sofa.

“Do you know how worried I've been for you these days? However, you never called me. I learned everything about you from my brother!” With that, Camille's eyes turned red.

Anton felt ashamed. “This is all my fault. Next time, no matter how busy I am, I will speak to you first!”
