Anton nodded his head to everyone, stayed in the corridor, and didn't enter the ward, giving them brother and sister time together. Stephan was the only one lying alone in the intensive care unit, and his face was pale because of excessive blood loss. Camille came to the bed with tears and grabbed Stephan's hand and said softly, “Brother! I came to see you, wake up!”

Hearing her call, Stephan slowly opened his eyes, and what he saw was the caring and anxious faces of his two sisters. Stephan forced a smile and said in a whisper, “I'm fine, you two don't have to worry about me.” Looking at her sister's disbelieving eyes, Stephan smiled and said, “Really, I'm fine! What are you crying about? You won't be beautiful if you cry again. Don't blame me when Anton doesn't like you.”

Camille blushed and hung her head, slapped Stephan's arm, and said, “Brother! You can’t be so wicked!”

Stephan's exaggerated shouts startled Camille, but Stephan, whose eyes were smiling, knew that she had been cheated. Stephan smiled and suffered his sister's “massage” on his arm. He suddenly thought of Zara in his heart and wondered if she was still in danger. Stephan hurriedly asked, “Camille, do you... do you know how Zara is? Is she safe?”

Camille was unhappy when she heard this. She didn't have a good impression on Zara. “Stephan, how do you feel? The doctor said that you will be fine soon!” Anton sat down beside Stephan and said with a smile.

Stephan nodded and said, “Anton. Tell me how Zara is doing. I am worried about her!”

Anton looked dim and didn't know if he should tell Stephan. Seeing Anton like this, Stephan was anxious and said loudly, “Anton, say it! Is Zara... I she dead?”

Anton said, “Stephan, don't worry, Zara's life isn't in danger, just... just the doctor said that the bullet hurt her central nervous system and may lead to blindness!”

Stephan exhaled and said with relief, “As long as she didn't die, I like her. No matter if she is blind or not, I must take her as my wife in the future!”

Anton saw Stephan was serious and smiled in his heart. These two people were both cold and hot, and their personalities were opposite. He didn't know why Stephan liked Zara, which was a good thing for Zara. After all, a girl wanted a home. Stephan was indeed a reliable person.
